I forgot about this! It's about 30 meters, because the reciever is tiny and has a tiny antenna(not that you could really fly it far anyways- those sorts of micro models are indoor-only, practically speaking). I have since built a very small quad with a very small camera, this has a range of about 600 meters (but at that distance the camera feed is of poor quality- it degrades after loss of orientation at distances greater than 100 meters, or eventually anyways at like, 250). I also have picked up a nice Hobby Cub Sport S, which is an absolute gentle puppy to fly, but does suffer from the same problem re: camera feed.

Those two camera-toting UAS really drink up the batteries though, I'm hoping to have much improved flight time with a bigger, beefier tricopter.

I drew a thing a while ago that I forgot to post here. It's a fantasy soldier from one of my stories. FYI, that weapon he's holding is a spear, not a sword; I was feeling lazy so I angled it head on, so theoretically it's actually correct.
