I am thinking of starting a web comic and i thought i would post up some of my designs. Also i need some good ideas for what to make it about.

High Fantasy looks the most promising so far. Perhaps that's just me, though.

Your sci-fi looks very retro, though, I like it as well.

Based on the three samples I like the Fantasy the best, but all three look good.

Thanks, has any one got any ideas for other things I could do.

If you are going to do the Fantasy style then I would ask are you going to include magic? If so, then a mage, dragon, goblin, etc would be a nice addition. If you are going with the SciFi then you need some ships and a space station.

Well, Fantasy and Zombies are perhaps you best "area". Also, you must be a good joke teller, otherwise no deal you know?

That is the only problem, I have ok jokes but nothing brilliant, is there any one out there who could help me with the writing.

I'll tell you something I've noticed about web comics and comic strips in general - comics based on jokes are never funny. The only thing that really sells and has lasting comedy is funny situations between funny characters. When a joke works, it's not because the joke is funny, it's because one of the characters has a reaction to the joke that's funny.
