Nauss, you ever play an rpg before? Characters have to startout kinda suckish, or you got nothin to improve on. That's why my guy has a sucky L1 ability and four bonuses. When you level up then you improve

Right, Das Raver B used to have a list of the levesl and status you'd be...It was kinda funny and insightful at the same time.
Level one would be your just started the adventuring trade, fresh out of the magic academy, village, or monastery. Your legend will have only just began, no one would know you through a hole in the wall and your abilities would be less than average at best.

Bingo. as cool as your samurai mage is, there is no way you can start out with stats this high.Rocket_Saint wrote:Level one would be your just started the adventuring trade, fresh out of the magic academy, village, or monastery. DD: 4
SP: 20
Special abilities: immortal, close combat specialist (+3 to hit in close combat)
Skills: teleportation, special sword attacks (ex: slams sword into and a bunch of blades come out of the ground), can transform into his other self, naussica in a time of desperation (cost half of current sp) (gets fire staff in left hand when transformed) (lasts until end of battle), hellfire (circle of flames forms around him) (only when transformed), balefire (fires a beam of fire) (only when transformed), regenerates 2 sp every turn (regenerates 5 sp when transformed).
AD: 4 is acceptable for a fighter type character who may not use magic (yet) see "Human Warrior" in the archetype section of the PDF rules.
DD: 3 is acceptable for previous
HP: ? (you didn't bother putting down your character's HP. generally, 10 is normal, but since you seem like you want your character to be a fighter type, 12 is acceptable.)
SP: If you want be a strong melee character, you may not also specialize in magic from the very start of the game. see ogel96's mage character as an example
Special Abilities: immortal? no. close combat specialist? yes.
Skills: Teleportation, and the various attack types you mentioned are not skills. They are spells at best. Skills are little perks that add to your character's roll and attempting a certain task. Some examples are Jump +1 Force Door/Object +1 Operate Mechanism +1 Pick Pockets +1 Pick Locks +1 Disarm traps +1 Tumble +1 Throw +1 and so on. Since it seems like you want to be a fighter type with sizable amounts of AD, DD, and HP, you have 3 points to delegate as you wish into various skills.
Approved. Just waiting on the other characters' sheets...OREMAWESOME1234 wrote:kerenath the lizard man

As a quick note - clockwork has inspired me - some time soon I will be running a sci-fi variant of this, and I've already started to work on the LDD dungeon modules.
I'm kinda hyped to see how this turns out - good luck to yee all.

This could be just as awesome as the fantasy one. I'll have to keep on the look out for your topic's posting, I don't want to be missing out on another game.

Perfectly approved. It turns out though that I don't have the rockraiders helmet or exact knight body that your minifig does. I can come close though. If you'd prefer something else, just let me know.Sloopofwar wrote:

Just get it as close as you can, or if you want just make something that looks cool.Clockwork Orange wrote: Perfectly approved.
