This has probably been done before, but I think there should be a thread were you post the old dusty games from your shelf to play them once again. Those games that you look at em and say "Damn, that was a great game... I wish someone would play with me..."
Well, despite the current vicious vg market with top notch graphics and gameplay, people tend to forget what videogames are for. To have fun.
I've been around vgs for a while now and sometimes, I do have more fun and games have more strategy when they are old ans simple.
So Ill start off with 3 games I've been playing lately:
Rings any bells?

I've recently played Nox on my pc.
as well as some of the older zelda titles.
I also love playing mortal kombat 1.
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

I don't care that they've released Civilization 5 now. 2 is still the best, and I'll keep playing it until they pry the keyboard from my cold, dead hands.
PS Just one more turn!

I played Warcraft 2 recently, but it didn't play well with Windows 7. Also, Starcraft 1. TC, I don't think you know what "old" means.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

You cited Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne as an example of an "old" game, when it really isn't.

Civs unite! *raises keyboard*
Civ III here- I just went back and bought a copy of the game again when I realized the old one was for the mac. I'm now attempting to make a thriving civilization, as opposed to my normal games...
But yeah, that and Star Wars Battlefront II.

I have Civ IV: Beyond the Sword. It's better then Civ IV, which I also have. Civ II was also awesome.

I play Call of Duty: United Offensive every Friday with friends and online every once and a while.
I'm also working on Pokemon Crystal.

The only games I own are old ones. At least, the ones that I still play after beating.
AoE (Composite bowmen snuggle everything)
AoE 2
C&C Generals
C&C Renegade
C&C Everything on the First Decade collection
StarCraft (Still suck at it)
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga (It's Age of Empires with lasers. No, seriously, they used the same engine and everything.)
Star Wars Jedi Academy
Army Men (It's a top-down shooter with somewhat awkward controls and nigh upon invincible enemies. Also tanks and jeeps keep appearing out of nowhere and destroying you. Don't ask why I still play it.)
King's Quest collection
MechWarrior 4
WarCraft 3 (I consider it old, though I've certainly played older.)
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (If you have not heard of/played this game, go out and buy it for your SNES. If you're not from America you'll have to settle for the censored-for-unmanly-countries version, Zombies.)
I'm sure there's a few more but I switch games so much I can't keep track any more.

Ah, I remember Army Men! Good times.
A little while ago, my brother and I decided to dig out the old xbox and hook it up. And I started re-playing one of my favorite game series, Mechassault! It's even better then it was before! Blasting rockets, stomping on infantry, and just blowing up everything in site! And the sequel is awesome too. Jack a dude's mech, then stomp on them, always a good time.

I to own these. We should play online someday. You have MW4: Mercs or Vengeance?
