Warheads: Army of the ShadowHawk - Non-canon (Medi-Evuul)

Post by Warhead » Tue Jun 07, 2011 4:07 pm

As per the original idea on the Wiki - http://brikwars.wikispaces.com/ShadowHawks I had a ton of these guys but not all the right parts so some changes had to be made to get the best out of what was to hand.

Image

1x Lord ShadowHawk (Champion)
1x Polearms Unit
1x Crossbow Unit
1x Great Sword Unit
1x Halberdier Unit
1x Peasant Bowmen Unit
2x Captains (Minor Heroes)
1x General (Hero)
1x Huntsman Ranger (Character)

Image

Where they fit in to the Medi-Evuul campaign is that they are one of the many Principalities bordering the Empire and have been a major thorn and rallying point of contention against the Empire over the years. They do have Kindred Knights included in the Empires forces but resent the living hell out of the Empire and see it as indentured servitude. Sorry, no Samurai cavalry here.

Of course this leaves lots of scope for a players choices without placing too many limitations, I hope. I went for a kind of Haradrim in blue feel, no there is no war elephant.

These will be included in the Medi-Evuul world campaign.

That is an impressive collection of ShadowHawks. Is the Huntsman Ranger the one with ExoForce hair?

Very cool, the hawks has always been a favourite faction and your take on them is very nice. Black and blue. Good numbers too, I don't think I could scrounge together more then a dozen if I checked back in my parents attic... but very good indeed. Looking forward to seeing them fight.

Correct, the Huntsman is the one in the black hood. I know very little about this faction other than what has been placed on the Wiki. I'm hoping Rayhawk'll flesh out some details here.

I also have one Black Turban and want to make a Vizier, would that be appropriate?

Cool, these remind me of the army in the guide (the squad section). I wanted some Black Falcons but they're really expensive so um, yeah, I went with plain blue ones instead for my faction, nice to see so many together :)

I had never thought of it before, but the blue anime hair is strikingly good with the black falcon get-up. I can't decide if the unit wants to be oriental or european...an interesting tension.

Classic castle ftw.

Thanks guys. I just realised I can make Samuri cavalry as I have four spare black horses. *Sigh* back to work.

I updated the wiki as best I could. There's mot much to tell, they were my faction as a kid but they didn't have much story to them.

Looksing awesome. Although I would suggest putting some helmets on the archers.
