The Ogre MkII is the replacement for most of the Brickville MBT's. It’s larger and heavier than any previous tank the Union made. Two version are pictured here, a normal version and a snow version. The redevelopment took several weeks, and because of this several version were made to replace it. The full name for this version is: T-108 “Ogre” MkII

History

The Ogre MKII was developed even before the start of production of the MKI versions. It was already clear that the tank was not good enough, and a new version was made. It’s more or less a conversion of the MKI, meaning that all MKI tanks were called back to the factory to undergo these modifications. Not all went back, mostly because some generals wanted to keep the older model because it was a little cheaper. The plan is to replace all older tanks with this tank as the official MBT. However because of the high cost of the materials this can take up years.

Armament
Like most equipment in the Brickville Union, it is tough, relatively simple, and crude. Thick armor protects its crew while its giant 190mm Gauss gun dishes out some of the toughest punishment on the planet. Also these can fire the Unions newer Bunker buster shells, that are able to level an normal size office building with one shot.

The new smoothbore Gauss gun is a completely new design and dwarfs that of most other tanks. The range and full capabilities of the Ogre's main gun are a tightly-kept secret. Ground troops love it in urban warfare because the fatter shell carries more explosive, and the radial damage it can cause. Because of the calibre of the gun there is a limited space to store the ammonition. Normal versions can carry 20 to 35 rounds inside the turret, with 20 more stored inside the hull itself.

It includes a chemical flame-thrower on the top of the turret, which can kill normal infantry and also is able to destroy lighter vehicles.
On the side of the turret are two 40mm anti air guns, that are capable of shooting down enemy gunships, and thus hreatly increasing the effectivness of the unit in the field.

Engine

Also a newer and somewhat smaller engine replaced the older one. It was clear that the older one was not good enough and as a result a much more powerfull and reliable engine was developed. Still the tank is not very fast, with the same speed as the previous one. This was the result of the increased weight.

Protection
As protection it uses a Shtora jammer which can be used to jam wire and laser guided anti-tank missiles. Also an Arena defence system which can shoot down incomming rockets like Rpg’s. However this system was made in a highly premature state, and thus can sometimes fail. Futhermore two smoke grenade launchers were fitted on the side of the turret, each launcher contains 2 grenades.

The 'normal' version of the tank

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350292m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
Side view

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350298m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
Back view, also the fuel tank on the outside was made bigger, so the tank can doesn't need to refuel that often

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350305m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
The gun can elevate this far, still not as far as we would like, but that was also not needed since the other guns can engage higher targets

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350313m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
Here's the chemical flame-thrower, it can spin 360 degrees and elevate 45 degrees, meaning that it can burn down any target around or above the tank in a range of 20 Meter.

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350320m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
Also the turret can turn, revealing the engine intakes.

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350326m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>

The hatch on top of the turret can open, because sometimes it's better to rely on your own eyes than on advanced sensors.

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350339m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
On the other side of the gun is the small coaxial gun.

The other version has a winter camo. It's not different than the other tanks except the color.

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350357m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>

Like most of my bigger tanks it has a suspension system

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350376m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
And as a new upgrade the side skirts ca be lifted up, making it much easier to acces the wheels and boogies.

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350382m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
The turrets removed

And the hulls removed

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350393m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
A close up with description of the interior of the tank

Like the previous version, the back hatch can open to acces the engine

Close up of the engine, it can run on fossil fuels, with injections of gas to give it a small boost to go faster.

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350420m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>
A summary of the systems installed on the tank

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309350426m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a>

As an extra I've made a box art of how this tank would look like when it would be sold in the stores (which it never will)

<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/30699/1309708051m"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/ ... SPLASH.jpg" border="0" width="500" height="391" alt=""></a>
Also a picture of it on a Brickville Union Propaganda poster

Wow.
Full stop, this is one of the most amazing tanks I've ever seen. I'm really impressed with the way you used the exact same camo scheme on the two different versions.

REALLY COOL! great tank to start with, but additionally you actually managed to make it look like it was painted camo rather than just having odd colored bricks in there every once in a while. So great job on that, hope we get to see it in a brikwar soon.

Battle needed asap! How many of these can you field? A tank line of these rolling over a ridge would be amazing, main guns swiveling to bear... awesome!

This is relevant. This is an awesome tank, and confirms that the enemies of the Brickville Union are fucked.

Given the number of Piltogg-based armies and factions on the site, I'm surprised they haven't started a giant inter-Piltogg war to see whose superiority is most superior.
