2012 sets (EDIT IN OP 2-10-2012)

Well, that's not hugely different from most large lego sets right? At any rate, it's too much for me to spend on one thing, I won't be getting the huge-ish sets. Stuff like 'warg riders' sounds like it'll have a lot of interesting pieces though and every fantasyverse has place for a marauding band of orc raiders!

Something I've also noticed is that Lego's boxes are much bigger right now than they used to be: must be a merchandise tactic.

Ugh, maybe that's why I couldn't find another Battle of Naboo when I went into Wal-mart today, they had cleaned all the old stuff out for the new...

There's always the glorious internet, at least... The only trouble is shipping- both the cost (major issue) and the wait (tiny nitpick). I never buy lego in stores these days because the only place I ever go that has lego is target, and the Lego aisle is always packed with moms and their shopping carts chatting it up and blocking off the whole thing, along with the occasional whining kid who can't get a new toy. All in all, shipping is taking its toll on my wallet.

Eh, I'm might pick up two when I go to the city next week.
Apparently the gift card I got was for $40, not $25 like I thought...

Come on man there's bound to be more stores. I live in a city with only 25 000 people or so and I think there's bound to be at least 2-3 shops that sell Legos, not sure though 'cos I haven't been to them in ages. You should also plan strategically when to visit the shop, fe at times when the little buggers are still working their asses off at school. Thanks to the oversized Lego boxes, you can now use them to bash kids and moms alike out of the way as well if they still happen to be there. I usually visit a larger, more specialised shop on the few occassions I go to my sister's, and I've reached the point that I don't care about people seeing me buy Lego or whatever. It's just something they'll have to put up with, to me it makes more sense than spending all your money on something that destroys your brain... Wait, this forum might be destroying my brain as well... Ah well nevermind that.

I thought the same thing. It's a pretty bad name for the son of the master of evil or whatever he is. And it's still a bad name for a ninja... Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay those are pretty cool names.

Lloyd is the demonspawn of Garmadon and Nya. Obviously. Why else would Garmadon capture her except for use as a sex slave?

But she was still kept in the world of the Living at the fire temple, while Garmadon was still in the underworld.
