One of the Strongest Marine companys on the planet Mjolnir, the 17th Marine Expeditionary Force is a product of many years of fighting under the banner of the Mjolnir Coalition.
The Mjolnir Coalition is a long standing Coalition formed after three factions put aside their differences to fight off a foreign threat. Realizing the power of their alliance, they stuck together for centuries after fighting off the foreign enemy. After colonizing hundreds of world they uncovered an alien warp drive, much stronger than any of their scientists could produce. once they reverse engineered the technology and outfitted their star fleets with them, they traveled in search of other civilizations. what they found were countless factions in the middle of a great war. They are unsure where to side...
The 17th Marine Expeditionary Force fights under the motto: "Exsisto validus quod of a bonus virtus" which means "Be strong and of a good courage." They have fought off numerous threats in their own systems.

Here is a large squad of marines. You can see the sergeant in the front. (He's the one with the scout trooper helmet.) Usually Squads consist of 6-8 men and a sergeant. I have only two sergeants right now but I will build more when my latest ebay order arrives.

Here is another view. I have more marines but I don't have guns for all of them. I need to buy more from brickarms.

Who doesn't love Heavy infantry? These guys are either mixed in with normal marine squads or dropped into battle via drop pod.

Few men have the job of toting around heavy weapons. they don't complain.

Here is a better look on my Flamethrower Marine. I especially like him. I built him after watching the thing one night.

From the back. Look at that booty.

You're damn right he loves his job!

Here are my sniper teams. Each team consists of one marksman, and one spotter. These men do various jobs such as scouting, taking out high value targets, and calling in artillery bombardments

No Sci Fi army is complete without a hardsuit soldier! This guy is armed for patrol or guard duty. Strictly anti infantry.

From the back. This is not my design, all credit goes to Mladen. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=23758

Another hardsuit. this one is cut out for a little more heavy duty work.

A good view of his grenade launcher. I will be building more of these guys. at one point in time, I had 5 of these guys.

Here is the drop pod. I'm not to happy with its looks, but it will do.

With the doors open.

This is a Prowler, Light Tank. This is not my design either. All credit goes to Jon Newsome. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/135412

This Tank is controlled directly from the strike cruiser. This minimalizes casualties and allows the tank to be smaller and faster, while maintaining firepower and armor.
Cool looking tank huh? Take look at more of Jon's stuff. he is an outstanding builder.

As you can see I have three of them. They are not part heavy and easy to build.

This is my APC, the Armadillo.

Armed to the teeth! Its more of a battle fortress than an APC.

Good view on the side guns. Warhammer 40k Inspired.

You can see how the top comes off.

The inside. It can transport a small squad of marines. The turret and side guns are controlled much like the Prowler.

And the door.

This is the Stinger, Light gunship. its main role is to provide support fire and take out armor.

Top view.

Back. I really like have the back looks for some reason.

Just for fun, a convoy to show off my forces.
My army is relatively small right now. I'm working on building a heavy walker, and a microspace fleet. Thanks for looking!
