On the cold northern fringes of Galaxia Nehellenium, a nation of ice-dwellers emerges from obscurity. The frigid worlds in the Rupert Sector have been unified under the flag of Canadia and now extend their reach to the stars above.

Descended from Britannian colonists who migrated there in æons past, the Canadians have learned to survive on the freezing Death Worlds they call home. All who are of age must learn to fight, or they are fed to the radioactive polar bears that inhabit the frozen wastes. Obviously no one wants to be fed to radioactive polar bears, so every Canadian gets conscripted.

Their standard soldier wears a MK I Mimemtic Armour suit modified for the extreme cold. Space only gets so cold, but ice worlds such as the ones the Canadians are from often have left-over dæmonic energies from demon battles long in the past that bring the temperature down below absolute zero. Gear for all Canadia military units can survive these sub-zero temperatures. Their standard weapon is an assault rifle and they carry a light-weight carbon nanotube-fused ceramite battle shield. Most factions don't carry shields, but the Canadians do because they have witnessed the true evils of the frozen wastes.

These are their heavy assault troopers. No shield needed here; they have heavy armour plates for a suit.

These guys also have jet packs (credit to Halo 3000) to let them overcome the weight of their armour.

These two are armed with M-249s and axes, but depending on the mission they might carry different weapons.

These are the officers of the Canadia Star Legion. In the center is Admiral Jean-Pierre Froid. They carry space pistols. Their fancy outfits look like old Brittanian uniforms, but these are of course modified for the extreme cold.

Now that you've sparked my imagination, I'm probably going to have to build some stuff for these guys. Dammit.
That buggy is all kinds of good! The infantry are okay, but they don't seem very Canadian.

The one thing I would do is give all the mini's a bearded face, as I heard in Canada you are born with one.

Rad. Also, is it just me or is that space armor you used on the heavy guys being put in every army with a white color scheme nowadays?
