Loneliness

Post by Arkbrik » Thu Aug 30, 2012 8:12 am

A simple and quick game. Takes a couple minutes to complete.

But the interesting thing is: How did you play it?

I tried to join the other groups at first, mimicking their movement patterns. But when that didn't work I felt sad for them when they got scared by me and disappeared. So I started staying away from them. Just like some lonely people in real life I guess.

When the author descibed it as a "Notgame", he was right.
Kind of pointless.
This is the reason I don't bother with trying to make simple games.

I "played" it like the game Xevious.
I held the up arrow,to constantly move up screen and used the left and right to move through the groups.
Pew pew pew... but nobody died.

It would've been more fun if my guy had a machine gun.

The music and the background near the end are very depressing. Sad thing: It all seems far too familiar.
