Drink The Blood 2015 -- mgb519 vs Natalya

[Natalya]

At the ruins of a parking garage different factions gather...



Grass grows beneath the shadow of the few pillars that remain. Piles of rubble line the streets.




A bunch of black death soldiers from the future have teamed up with some post-apoc warriors.




And a veritable ménagerie of star-faring warriors assembles by the road.




In the middle of it all, on the second floor of the garage Vlad watches the coming onslaught. The numbers aren't in his favour, but maybe before he dies he will sate his thirst for blood one last time.




Off to the side the silent screams of the dead echo, penetrating the souls of all who have come to the battlefield. High pitched electric guitar shredding is heard from the sky. Brikthulu descends from his other-realm to kill once more.

The stage is set. It's time for war.

[Natalya]

mgb519 Turn 1



A soldier sprints and ducks for cover behind some rubble.




The rest of mgb's men advance.



They take the south side of the parking garage.

[Natalya]

Natalya Turn 1



Natalya's forces close in.




First Blood!! Major Natalya (Hero) and her Green DSM bodyguards take out two of mgb's men.




In the back, Colette (Hero) completes some math equations and levels up into her battle form.




Major Natalya performs a heroic feat and kills the guy who was hiding behind the rubble.




But on the other side of the field things don't go according to plan. A space ninja crit-fails his attack roll with his rocket launcher. The rocket strikes the pillar his fellow men were standing near, killing three of them.

BrikThulu and Vlad Turn 1



BrikThulu casts Magic Missile and destroys one of the MK2 Gold Bots.




Vlad chooses a target and jumps down from his platform to make his attack. BrikThulu also hungers for more and attacks the assassin-droid.

mgb519 Turn 2



mgb's men move into position.




The Ninja Assassin takes out a Black Knight.




The soldiers following behind him kill the rocket-launcher ninja.

Natalya Turn 2



Natalya's forces move up.




A Gold Bot snipes one of mgb's men by the car.




Natalya and the DSM take out two more post-apoc survivors.




The Red Knight snipes Overwatch_Elite.




Not sure what happened with this guy. I think he was a hero? He's acting during my turn though. (Perhaps a response action?) But things don't go well for him.




It looks like the rocket he was holding exploded, killing him and two nearby soldiers.




One of the surviving Space Ninjas shoots another black space guy. This ends my turn.

Vlad and BrikThulu Turn 2



Vlad accomplishes his mission. He kills the green Space Ninja and drinks his blood.




BrikThulu takes out one of mgb's men this time.

mgb519 Turn 3



Medix revive this guy who tries to fight BrikThulu, but the mere mortal isn't able to take down the arch-mutant of the negaverse.




The final Space Ninja gets shot to death. I think that mgb's forces also did a point of size damage to one of the Gold Bots or the Red Knight, but I'm not sure.

Natalya Turn 3



Major Natalya performs a heroic feat and slays the demon. BrikThulu's mortal body has been destroyed, forcing him back into the Negaverse.

Despite her success, I was really worried here. My losses clearly aren't on par with mgb's, but I also had fewer units to begin with.




And so, with a WISG roll, Colette was able to summon the Magikal Girl Squad. They kill mgb's Ninja Assassin.




The Red Knight shoots someone on the raised up platform, and one of the Gold Bots goes to the left.




This ends my turn.

Vlad Turn 3



What's this? In all the commotion mgb's men were able to hotwire Vlad's car!! Vlad becomes super angry and rushes after the carjackers.

mgb519 Turn 4



mgb was also running low on men, so he called in a tank. It blows the arm off of the Red Knight. One of his men also attacks the Major, but she lives. (I think this guy was a hero, mgb can you confirm?)

Natalya and Vlad Turn 4



The Green DSM join the major in a triple-attack on mgb's hero, but they can't kill him.




Usually in my battle reports I get tired of taking photos and get less diligent as the battle progresses. That's what's happening here.

The Red Knight and Gold Bot move up. Sayaka (not seen) goes underneath the parking garage ruin. In this picture you can see that mgb's guys have loaded Vlad's car onto the boat. They did that earlier this turn but I didn't have a picture of it. Then for Vlad's turn he keeps following the guys who punked his car, you can see him near the boat ramp.

mgb's hero dual-wields two laser guns and he kills both of the Green DSMs. (Is that the plural or is DSM plural as well? I call upon Blitzen.)


Natalya Turn 5



Homura, the Gold Bot, and the Red Knight combine fire on the tank and deal 1 point of size damage.




Major Natalya tries to shoot mgb's hero, but he redshirts a robot.






So I go for a heroic feat. The Major does a super jump on top of the tank and slices the top off, landing her inside.

Not sure what else happened.
