Front yellow strips are for launching, white for docking/returns.
If the L-printed drones return at all that is.
Ah, I thought it might be something like this. Maybe add some sort of trawling net/tractor beam to pull in busted up drones to be melted down for parts?
Well, if anyone wants to find a way to visualise/represent this - I would have no issues whatsoever.
Also, a design I would like to play around with would be a USA dropship that includes an L-printer onboard.
Basic idea would be a one way dropship, not intended to return once launched. The bottom half would be filled with troops, to secure a landing zone and basic resources - once that is done - the troops feed said resources into a feed chute on one side of the ship and it prints vehicles and guns out of the other.
Once vehicles are printed, the troops secure more shit and it starts to print out drones and robot soldiers before moving onto printing the parts to print a bigger printer - which the robots would then put together and operate.
The bigger printer would then L-print more drones, tanks and robots - before then printing entire bases as USA forces take over the planet.
Seems like the kind thing the United Systems Alliance would have a massive boner for.
