Re: Leopard 2A6/ 2A6M CAN/ 2A7+/ 2A8/ (Updated 2016/2/27)
An interesting idea would be to provide variant instructions, minus the pieces, for the buyers to build themselves using their own parts. Just a thought.

Yeah, I'd see people considering paying $10-15 for some quality pdf instructions.Steel_Valkyrie wrote:An interesting idea would be to provide variant instructions, minus the pieces, for the buyers to build themselves using their own parts. Just a thought.

I've actually been thinking about doing that for some time now. However, I would still charge $ for the variant instructions, as they do take time to put together.

This seems like a good idea, and i'd be willing to buy some, but the price is kinda high. If i wanted to, i could just order from Brickmania and get a 15% Astarte discount. Oh, and by the way, it's good to see another Canadian who likes to blow up minifigs to smithereens.
yeah, I'm trans.

What do you mean by 15% Astarte discount? Do you mean 15% start discount?

Re: The Leopard 2 Tank Thread (Updated 2016/3/10)
Rebuilt the Leopard 2A6 from scratch last week, and incorporated new suspension and hull techniques into the build!
For my idea to create a kit based off of the previous Leo. 2 model, those plans have been dropped. Mainly because it's a lot harder to source pieces than I thought!
Instead, I will make the previous Leo. 2 instructions available for sale sometime this week; just have to set up a Paypal account

Is there a 1x1 tile missing on the right side of the tread cover?Valiant wrote:Rebuilt the Leopard 2A6 from scratch last week, and incorporated new suspension and hull techniques into the build!

Almost done! Once I finalise the turret side armour, I will once again make the engine deck accessible, with a removable power pack. Once all that is done, I will make a digital version of the model for production

Nope, it's dark-blueish gray. However, I adjusted some of the colour and lighting with my phone* before I uploaded the photograph.
*So, I photographed the model with a Cannon, emailed myself the best pictures, edited them on my phone, emailed them back to myself, and then uploaded the photographs to Flickr and Imgur.

Do your tanks have a smokescreen ability since they have the smoke-grenade tubes?
