The 1st battle I ever hosted

The first brikwars battle I ever played (and the thing that introduced my to Brikwars) was Piltogg's Ambush at Matua. (I was one of the kids that kind of messed it up  )
I played the German reinforcements and their trusty panzer, but my run was plagued by a squad or eternally respawining Ninja turtles and a very overpowered Deadpool. The allies found the grail pretty quickly, and it was somewhat anticlimactic, but I was hooked on brikwars. Sadly there aren't any pictures of that battle, so I can't prove it happened, but the next day, I came back with a better army, excited to play again even though all the people who were really into it had fled the night before, I organised a game of my own

In the end I'm pretty sure I won against the allied soldiers, army men, hodgepodge people, and police forces, I had a lot of fun, and not long after I discovered the Forum. Sadly my attempts to join were never responded to. I then began assembling an army based on a senate commando core around a year later, this quickly grew into the Space Paladins (I eventually changed this to space Prussians, then toyed around with the idea of Space Holy Romans, and finally came around to calling them the Space Austrians) Not long after I showed the rapidly growing army off at a convention (pics if you ask) and then around 8 months later, and after the name change, I finally became a member of Brikwars.

No worries. 80 spambot accounts, 1 troll alt, and only two actual new signups, both from the last week. Nobody left in the cold... this time.

Brikwars: efficiency is our specialty

MegaBloks vs Lego II was actually one of the battles that got me really interested. Along with McDo's once upon a stranded toybox.

I got into it because I wanted to know what the story was behind my dad's kick-ass background on his PC. The one wit ha DSM in the pile of skulls, the Legionnaire on the motorcycle and the pirate ship in the background. He wasn't terribly interested in brikwars, But, hey, I was.

Yeah saw that image on Face Book, and thought it was cool. Dork Tower comics is what brought me over though.
