Depths of Darkness (Round 1)
Zahru begins... which begs the question, how badly will I roll for him this time?
Hey, he's planes-walking out of there already? Coward!
Oh, I see what he's up to. He grapples the giant skeleton but misses his strike against it. However, he's in a great position to try it again next turn.
Miranda's forces start to move, and the Great Mighty Poo unleashes a blast towards the skitterlings. He only rolls a '2', but it's an explosion so I can be generous and have it hit a couple of bugs even if it's slightly off the mark. Weirdly enough he rolls a '2' again, thus only managing to knock back and disrupt a couple of them.
TGMP then moves forward towards the catapult, brandishing his Poo-Fist.
Miranda shoots an arrow right into the eye of the Spider-Mom! A mighty armour roll prevents SP damage, but the pain is enough to keep the spider from doing anything this round.
The rest of Miranda's troops stick close to the Poo and set up response fire. (Jorum doesn't need to remain close to it for it to fight.)

The Woad Elf infantry moves forward, while their archers ready response fire.
The undead will have to approach through a hail of arrows, indicated by the red flag.
Voytek takes careful aim while his cohorts save their actions.
Overskill shot! The Wight King bites the dust. Voytek's feat sadly failed.
Mordra lashes her fiery whip across the ground, creating a barrier of magical fire.
Then it's the undead's turn. The Spider-Mom screeches to her swarm to attack while recovering from the damage taken to its eye.
Two skitterlings are killed as they run head on into the response fire.
TGMP tries to smash one of them as the creature wanders into range, but misses.

Aelcar uses his considerable power to give his grave wraiths long scythe-like lances instead of the scimitars they were wielding.
A grave wraith unwittingly cuts the top off the tree as the chariots press forward and thunder past it.
The fire wraiths walk into the response fire, but survive thanks to their shields and relatively poor aim.
They fire their head gems, killing one member of the warbands.
The Nightmare Catapult fires... it should be wildly inaccurate, but it rolls a 6.
I allowed the Woad Elves to bail, or all 5 in that group would've died to the 12 damage it did. Sadly one of the two who wasn't able to bail was Nimra, and the expedition is 1 hero down. The minotaur also got knocked away and disrupted by the knockback.
The Valkyrie tries to use her healing prowess to resuscitate Nimra... the action will conclude at the start of her next turn (luckily I remembered this, 'cos I rolled a '1' at first ). Let's see how many limbs she loses.
This guy bailed REALLY far.
It looks like he landed on his face, but trust me, he's fine, not even disrupted, thanks to rolling a 6. Same goes for one of the guardians on the other side.

Baron DeMorte uses his Skeletal Mastery to turn some of the shambling horde into Greater Skeletons (upgraded to basic Minifig stats, indicated by helmets).
He then turns and charges forward, his horde shambling in behind him. The giant skeleton seems blissfully unaware of the Zahru piggybacking it, but then it's not really in much of a position to do something about it anyway. A Bitchy Witch takes a shot at Mordra, but the sorceress simply brushes it off.
DeMorte rushes Voytek.
This evokes response fire from Mordra's troops, but it doesn't even impede the Baron's wild charge.
Voytek sees the attack coming and draws one of his swords...
He fails his parry and his lucky to survive the hit.
The spearman spotted an attack of opportunity and jabs at the Baron, who fails his parry and goes down! Someone give that guy a medal!

But what's happening at the Black Citadel...?
Garth reflects what light there is off his pike, sending a beam of focused light towards Nimoë.
"AAIIEE! My eyes!" Nimoë falls over, stunned.
Garth then retreats, closes his visor and levels his weapon, putting his back to the wall so he can't be attacked from behind.
The Dark Elves, somewhat taken aback by the sudden loss of their mistress, group up and advance cautiously, their blades ready to shoot out at Garth like snakes.
But then...
Xalen: "Phineus! It's time to settle the score!"
Secret faction has arrived! Xalen! (Commanded by Falk)
Garth: "Xalen, is that you?! Were you the voice in my head?"
Xalen: "Of course."
Garth: "I expected to see you a lot sooner!"
Xalen: "Much has happened. I will tell you, but first we have to kill this necromancer."
Garth: "These Dark Elves are the real problem! They're controlling him!"
Xalen: "I know. Hmm... Phineus appears to be in some sort of stasis, which is being maintained by these Dark Elves. So, we kill them first."
Garth: "Let's get to it, then!"
@Falk: Xalen has started out in his demon form, but he can switch back to his knight form at any time if you prefer it (but only once per round). He's 7 inches away from the nearest Dark Elves.
That's it for round 1, you can send orders for round 2.

The Red lady call control over the fires of the wrights to betray their masters and burn them.
Edit: If possible have her say something edgy like, “Your light is mine!” Or “Only I can play with fire.”
Trogdar uses his saved action and current one to fly behind the enemy line near the catapult/siege wepknty and attack it (or anything nearby if he can’t get to it).
The imperials move forward defensively, continuing to save actions for response (focusing on staying alive / holding the line)

I really messed up by not using a heroic feat...
Okay, the archers continue to fire on the headbeam guys if rover's feat fails, else they fire on the grave wraiths. The infantry engages the same targets. The jungle stalker attacks the giant skeleton, and throws him at the catapult.

Xalen charges Nimoë in flight mode, hopefully attacking her while she's still disrupted. Use my feat to switch Xalen into armored mode after the charge.
Edit: after looking at the stat card I can't switch to armored mode after my turn, so attack with the shield/sword combo instead of 2H combo.
