Advice on Building Army
Hey,
I'm new to brikwars and was wondering if anyone has advice on how to expand my army size. I already have a pre-existing backbone of cold war era/style infantry, but I am struggling with expanding. Any advice?

Are you asking just about getting more figs or like what kind of expansions to do?Anglobricks2296 wrote:Hey,

I make apocalypses and apocalypse accessories.

Making some vehicles is always a good idea

Yeah, thinking about an IFV/APC multi-role vehicle. I'm kinda stuck using Lego City vehicles as technicals.Falk wrote:Making some vehicles is always a good idea

Bricklink is an excellent place to pick up real cheap figs, and if you want you can custom order specific pieces to make vehicles.
So far I've bought close to 100 figs on it and weapons. Highly recommend. They even sell brickarms weapons.

Specialist teams are worth adding as well, like pyros, snipers, berserkers, etc.
I make apocalypses and apocalypse accessories.

Yeah, if you're going for a Cold War styled army, then you could look into specialist kit like a flamethrower tank, ATGM or automatic grenade launcher teams, and heavier kit like a tank or a SPAAG.

Re: Advice on Building Army
I could recommend using LDD(Lego Digital Designer) to design vehicles based off real world ones.
Then use bricklink, as many others have said, to get the parts, it seems cheaper.

Re: Advice on Building Army
If you're looking to battle, try and make as many different units of different size levels as you can. Unless you have a large stockpile of bricks, I'd recommend starting with the small vehicles before going large; a 30U" nuclear armed bomber isn't going to be much use in a game with a 20U" cap, while a 5U" armoured car is perfect.Anglobricks2296 wrote:Hey,

Look at the rulebook and make some troops that can fit the different roles.
