You're both natural to Brikwars, we can tell. Beautiful!
Also, Lt Gruber and his little tonk!!

Stalin and Pol Pot etc. had all their unconscionable atrocities and genocides, but for whatever reason they've stayed historical figures rather than turning into figurehead symbols for modern hate movements.

This battle is fine, I just want to forestall all the Hitler-fans in the audience thinking this means they get to start Hitlering it up all over the place as much as they want to here.

Fair enough - though we have only 4 Russian infantry, and they have been mixed in as US Jeep drivers I think...

I'm going to have a sort through the Lego, getting all the hinge and joint parts sorted, then I'll know what sort of stuff I can make.

I would love to make a Stalin Mech in the style of the Tsar Tank, but would need to build the wheels from scratch, out of Technic I guess.

Having a Waldo within the tank, and Stailin within that woulod make ma great Russian Doll effect. Perhaps a moustache like a bulldozer blade? He may be powerful, but every turn he'd need to see if his attack was spent against the enemy, or by purging his most effective troops.

For the record, BrikWars' kanonical Stalin is Dancing Stalin from Stalin Vs Martians:

Imagine needing a disclaimer for your Lego battle clarifying you don't condone Nazis because otherwise the commie fetishists will ban you for hateful bigotry.

To be completely fair, feeling required to post a disclaimer of any sort for a Brikwars game of all things?

Seems rather anachronistic to the nature of the game, what with it nearly always being irreverent nonsense anyways.

I mean I wouldn't exactly expect to discern any fascist sympathies from a battle report comprised of, among other things, a Gundam-Piltogg fighting a landship piloted by Winston Churchill as they get mobbed by drunk peasantry. It's just redundant at best to dedicate a paragraph to assuage the expected backlash and remind people it shouldn't be taken seriously, utterly absurd at worst.

To clarify: The reason I'm making a point to disclaim jokey mecha-hitler isn't because I think people who want to smash jokey mecha-hitlers are hateful bigots or whatever the accusation was. It's because I know we've got a lot of guys like DJ Squidley who've been itching to post all their jokey-but-completely-NOT-jokey stuff, and who are going to use the presence of jokey mecha-hitler as justification when I tell them to quit it.

I didn't say that. What I said was that you're eager to post joking-not-joking stuff to offend people. Jumping into every conversation about nazis and getting weirdly excited about pissing people off with fascism is who you are on this forum.

Oh god dammit. I'm already seeing a pile of new user registrations from guys like this. You guys realize that inviting your shitposter friends in here to make my job miserable just proves my point of why I have to clamp down on this stuff for my own sanity.

I felt I needed the discamer because of the "joking, not joking" culture about on the internet, and wasn't intended to be any comment on this forum in particular. I'm a fan of certain computer games I've recently discovered are hotbeds for genuine Piltogg fetishists, so I thought it's worth distancing myself from that shit. Even when it should have been pretty obvious from context, in 2019, saying "Piltogg bad" is unfortunately necessary on the internet.
