Despite appearances, this was not a Recognized AFOL Networking Event 2023.

The GGE interceptor known as the Chickadee, with its stout frame, stubborn armor, and all-too-deadly size 4 rockets, has joined a pantheon of Brikverse vehicles that strike fear into their enemies. Hoping to break the stalemate in the Space New Jersey front, armies have descended on the hidden factory where Chickadees are produced and even more fearsome concepts are under development.

King of this factory is the eccentric billionaire designer, Gendo Hughes, who commands the factory from his germ-free tower.

Production is continuing apace, despite GGE intelligence warning the factory to double defenses. "We'll just double Chickadee production instead!"

Round 1: Da Brootalz
Da Brootalz attack with a substantial force, hoping to break through the factory's main entrance and loading docks.

With their opening salvo, they take out two of the gate guards. First blood gets Da Brootalz one victory point!

On the other side, they find an unthreatening flatbed truck.

Round 1: Brikwave
Brikwave deploys at two strategic locations: just outside the cafeteria, and crashing the graduation ceremony for new Chickadee pilots.

They easily smash the cafeteria windows, giving themselves an unguarded entrance.

As they enter, they attack the lunching workers by surprise, killing one.

Meanwhile, the pilots' graduation ceremony has an unexpected audience.

The Brikwave idol hero attempts to disrupt the ceremony by smashing them with their own catered ice cream stand.

The feat fails! The hero's trusty guitar has been replaced with ice cream, which somehow completely derails Silas from coming up with any further good heroic feats.

A horn player is viciously murdered!

Round 1: GGE
GGE hero Captain Stetson, well known for kicking the turtle thereby ruining relations with Bleak Company, decides to try to kick the large crates into the Brootalz.

hup!

Gack! (feat failed)

Factory defense cannons blow the gunner off the nearest Brootal hovercraft.

Inside the cafeteria, the workers fight back in solidarity, successfully murdering one shield trooper with their tools.

Outside, the defense cannons take on the Brikwave vehicles.

A pilot, seen on stage here, rushes to grab his diploma and Chickadee, inspired as the band plays on defiantly.

Uh ignore the fact that the band is all double sided faces

With the bonus from the band (as Leaders), the pilot sprints successfully to his craft. He does not know this yet, but he will be the only graduate this month.

The presiding officer flees, while in the background the pilots engage the enemy with their holdout pistols.

The innocuous flatbed gives a Brootal a deadly hooking.

Round 2: Da Brootalz
The troops down below attempt to take Stetson out, but a redshirt saves the day.

The Warmanager goes for a stomp, but a second redshirt keeps Stetson alive and kicking.

At the supply depot, the hovercraft deals a little damage to the GGE patrol car.

Round 2: Brikwave
The Brikwave speeder takes out the GGE defense gun that hit it.

The tank, however, takes out its own rocket pod with a critical failure.

The idol hero decides to learn how to use this new weapon.

Brainfreeze!

Meanwhile, the troops try to massacre the pilots melee style.

Inside the cafeteria, the troops and workers exchange blows.

They steal the restaurant's cash reserves, dealing a heavy financial blow to Chickadee production and earning a victory point.

However, things begin to fall apart - this trooper is overwhelmed by her attackers, and loses her gear as she spins dizzily.

Another trooper makes a faceplant.

Reinforcements arrive, crushing the dead under their squad plates.

They easily destroy the buffet. (this is not worth a victory point)

The buffet attendant dies as well.

Round 2: GGE
Da Brootalz find themselves under a manned crane.

They all bail to avoid death by OSHA violation.

Stetson leaps onto the crane, safely out of the way.

The guards hide behind cover and take out some of the invaders.

In the cafeteria, the remaining workers try to finish off the disrupted Brikwave troops.

The freshly graduated Chickadee takes off.

And immediately fires off a rocket at the Brikwave tank!

It misses, landing directly into the graduating class.

Everyone in the area dies to 3 or 4d10 damage, both GGE and Brikwave. By default, the remaining pilot will be named valedictorian. Silas receives a victory point for causing the death of most of the pilots.

The flatbed gives a disrupted brootal the bonk!

Round 3: Da Brootalz
Da Brootalz spread out through the loading dock and do some damage to the flatbed.

The warmanager tries and fails to take out the defense cannons.

These troops decide they are too smart to be defeated by cover, and flank the gate guards. They fail to kill them.

The disarmed hovercraft rams the gate. It is too wide to fit.

Round 3: Brikwave
Giant Mariya enters the battle.

A mobile Brikwave unit enters through the factory graveyard. Here, dead test pilots are buried, and two children play with jack-o-lanterns, as is required by this year's theme.

As they enter, they take out the Chickadee's other rocket, but this fails to dent the Chickadee itself.

The Brikwave speeder limps into the factory, taking out a droid.

The tank blows up its other rocket pod. (this is not worth a victory point)

Brikwave infiltrates the factory kitchen, where one chef works hard on some turkeys and a juice box.

The workers are whittled down to just one defender.

And then none, in an earth-shaking blow. Brikwave now controls the cafeteria. Next, the rest of the factory!

Round 3: GGE
The side patrol finally reaches the Brootal invasion.

Working together, each with a size 2 gun, they fail to kill one guy.

The flatbed completes its bonk, smashing another Brootal.

The crane also finds its mark, killing two Brootalz with a swinging overkill.

Stetson attempts to crane kick the whole crane into the Warmanager, who is perched atop the crates. But opposed 1's mean nothing happens yet.

There is apparently a gate guard here, so he shoots the bottom of the hovercraft.

The chef makes a frenzied attack at the Brikwave trooper, and dies himself to A Something Bad Happens from the last turn.

The workers at the end of the line quickly deconstruct the Brikwave speeder. They hunger for parts.

At the start of the line, Da Brootalz have liberated some parts already, and the workers have rebuilt a turret.
