MGP-5

Post by Massam » Mon Jan 19, 2009 11:51 pm

The MGP-5 is a mobile gun platform. Although it has legs, it should not be confused with a standard mecha. Its purpose is to provide mobile fire support for infantry squads. Due to its large feet, it is very stable, but can not move faster than a normal minifig. Designed to be cheap support, it also has low structure level, and minimal cockpit armor.

The left gun is a laser rifle, while the right is a recharging plasma cannon (launcher).

Pics were to large for the forum, sorry.

Heh, I picked up the robo-raptor for 5 bucks. The pilot makes a pretty cool cyborg guy.
@Silvadream, thanks!

Very acceptable.

Dumb question, but what is acceptable? The price or the walker?

It's not good, but almost, so it's ranked "very acceptable".

Well, thank you. I should note that it was built in about 10 minutes. Half of which I was just staring at my box of briks.

That was an awesome set. $5 is a steal.

I also got the robo-raider for the same price, not quite as cool, but still a steal. Garage sales are awesome.

The feet look too big. Otherwise, it looks like it could do some damage.

My camera wasn't cooperating, so I had to take a bad angle, it looks better in person. And remember, they're supposed to be big! :wink:

Yeah, was too impatient to choose something smaller.

I only have enough parts for one, maybe another rainbow one. But that would be awesome!
