I'm actually glad MB got the license. Then we can use MB Halo parts in our LEGO MOCs!
Yeah, heartily agreed here. I don't know of any clone brands that are as good as lego, but I'd say that Megablox are a notch above any other clone brands that are out there.

I'm actually happy about this. Have you guys forgot about how the limbs always came off from the pirates sets, etc.
LIMBS COMING OFF.

KILLAMANJARO.
Getting the picture?
I'm excited about these, and I WILL be getting the lot of these when they come out.

Anyways, I'm not a fan of Megabloks, nor am I a fan of Halo. I will admit, though, that these sets have to potential to have awesome weapons and minifig tools, as well as some cool aliens. I will be keeping an eye out for these.

Yea, but doesn't brickarms already have The MA5B Assault Rifles and The Magnums already? And Saber-Scorpion already built what I consider a nice Scorpion tank and a decent Warthog.

Also, Halo 1 had best story line, cannot be beat. Combat sucked though. The Pistol, Sniper Rifle, and Rocket Launcher were the only actually useful infantry level weapons. Assault Rifle was a freaking yellow water hose. Bullet streams, flashly look, thats it. The compass on it was also useless. cool, but useless.

Halo 2 sorta improved, an added the Arbitar to play. Pretty cool, better combat, but moved too far from Halo. Story line was ok..but could've been better.

Halo 3...Awesome assortment of weapons, vehicles, and items to use. But..thats about it. It was purely meant for online play. Story line follows this characteristic.
"Go in, shoot bad guys, push button, fight out, go to next scene."
"Go in, shoot bad guys, blow up tank, fight out, go to next scene.
"Go in, shoot bad guys, blow up anti air tank, fight out in air craft, go to next scene."

So on so forth.
Remember, there are no such thing as Athiests in foxholes. There's also no such things as foxes in foxholes.

Thank god.

It seems like every other suggestion from all the teenage noobs is some unintelligible request for LEGO to pursue the Halo license-- typically written in all caps and/or with poor grammar. Hopefully this will cut down on the quantity of those ridiculous requests, and (wishful thinking) may force some of the requesters to have their little Halo discussions elsewhere (on non-LEGO boards). Thanks for trying to help get rid of our garbage, Mega Bloks!

dear fucking god. it doesn't matter about quality, Lego has certain policies. No M-Rated liscences would probably rank pretty high on the list.

Killamanjaro is not a mountain.

Killimanjaro is.

I haven't played Halo 3 yet, but I think that Halo and Halo 2 are about equal to each other.

Brickarms can't be beaten up for this because they made their weapons before this even came to be a possibility.

And finally, I like Halo, but I like using ONLY Lego. I don't even want to use Brickarms (but no offense to them) so I won't be buying any of this stuff. Saber Scorpion already made enough MOCs of Halo things and if I want Halo stuff I would just look at what he has made.

Wells, I have mixed feelings about this. I suppose I will probably buy some Mega-Blocks, I can always base my own models after their designs, and, give the bricks to my friends or something. And Halo 1? It was frigging awesome. I own all 3 games, with 2 and 3 being limited edition(metal case, shiny exclusive content), though I am still playing through Halo 1 (on my 360 Elite), I just recently rediscovered them (I had been away from video games for a long while. For about a year, all I played was about 2 hours a week of WoW. I am playing through the series [on legendary, of course] to get back my rusted skills.I am up to the Flood level on the original Halo) But I have a deep hatred of Megablox. Once I figured out their impurities, I instantly broke apart my tank and aircraft carrier, and I took the bricks and put them in a bag and lit the bag on fire.

On regards to Halo combat? It was awesome. The Pistol was my buddy, great for running, melee, and sniping, as well as the shotgun(for close up) and the AR was nice too, if you can keep your aim on with the fine skill of years of playing FPS games, along with the strategy of MMORPG's.

I digress. The point:
Buy the sets to steal the designs.
