T-150 Light Battle Tank
So, last night I opened a bottle of wine & played a little Barry White, and left my Main Battle Tank & Infantry Fighting Vehicle's in the room alone and the next morning I found these!!!!!
T-150 Light Battle Tank
Because, of the 45th's expanding territories and the proliferation of arms by neighbooring nations. (*cough* Assyrian Mechanical Monstorsity *cough*). The need for a mass production tank was needed. The T-150 is a homage to the old Russian T-50. Not particualrly pretty, but it was low cost and can be produced in high numbers. Even though the track system is exposed, it has a simple low profile design, and uses a dual pair track setup. Meaning to disable this tank, you will need to take out both tracks on one side. Capable of carrying a couple of troopers, it is still a tank and armed sufficently to prove it's worth on the battle field.

Crew: 4
1 Driver
1 Gunner
2 Troopers
Armament:
1 72mm Gauss Cannon
1 15mm Chaingun
2 K45 Guided Rockets
(Please excuse the photo's, my SD card was acting up so I had to use the camera on my phone.)

Great job on the tanks Roc But they wouldn't stand a chance against a squad of M.I.

Unless you were building a SHIP & a wing of fighters, you were probably out of the running a while ago. Me and Natalya seem to have the largest well rounded forces publicly announced on these forums, it would be an effort & cost to throw down with us. But, it still shouldn't dissuade you from trying. I've been purchasing for the last 6 months, starting up my collection and I think I'm capping my spending soon, so you can catch up in time.OneEye589 wrote:Well, I think this kind of gets me out of the running with you and Natalya. It was fun guys, but I just can't compete.
Hey RoC77, would it be much trouble posting pictures of how you set up the gears and wheels with the treads on the Goliath and BMP-89s? I'm trying to re-do my tank as I just got more treads, but I'm having trouble making something as large as those tanks.
Yeah, I'm proud of my tracks, it was a bit of a pain to have it set the right way and have an appearance of functionality. If you haven't tried to build a tank using these tracks, it's frustrating sometimes, because after you think you have built a nice frame for it, you put the tracks on and they don't fit correctly. You have to have to do a bit of trial & error with the frame for the tracks to fit correctly or you'll be in that limbo of it's too tight and the tracks won't move or if you add one more there's too much slack.
Something is going on with brickshelf at the moment, I'll post the tracks later today.........
