J+B this is mostly a reference for you, so you'll know what I'm calling certain weapons and what their properties are.

Okay, first off those are what I consider missile sizes to be. Basically, it's how many actual bricks (not small 1x1 circles) that make up the missile determine its MK rating. Going right...

Okay, top left is Major Natalya. She has two SMGs and pilots the Longinus Corvette. Under her is Major Smith, commander of the generic Assyrian Soldiers. He has a silenced Auto Pistol. Below him is Regulus with the dreaded .44 Magnum -- The Most Powerful Handgun in the World. Captain Alice to the Right of Natalya is the pilot of the Armoured Core. Here she has an Assault Rifle. To her right is a Terminator Robot and a 2nd-Type Assassin Droid. They have the strength of a robot, the armour of a space marine, and the speed of normal infantry. They can dual-wield single-handed weapons. Below them are some of the generic Assyrian soldiers, one with a Light Laser Cannon and to his left are some officers. The bottom row is the feared Assyrian Commandos. They can teleport into battle from orbiting ships and surprise enemy forces. Captain Von Hess is present with a Laser Carbine and to his right are a Commando with a missile launcher and a Close Combat Commando (Triple-C). These are the kinds of soldiers I have. The Mars tank is driven by Terminator Robots btw.

And here are some of the heavier weapons. The big black thing is mounted on the AC's backpack. It is a multiple-missile launcher and fires MK I missiles. They're not too powerful, but it has 24 slots so it can rapid fire.
Umm I might have more than this, or less than this, but most of these weapons will see action. I know most of them are leaning to the overpowered side, but that just makes the battle go faster. These are the stats I have used for the two forum battles.

Yea, I'm wondering this, too. I haven't even looked at the 2001 rules, but seeing all of the weapons with ridiculously long ranges, that's what I'm guessing.

So that is why so many people died in the Death War so quick! I would just use the Weapons Mod Chart from it to make 2005 balanced weapons. I think the 2001 WMC is still balanced to 2005.

Seriously. I don't ever recall an infantry unit surviving a shot of any kind. J+B would be well off with buying armour, or he will be slaughtered. Seriously, wheat to a scythe, a hot knife through butter, Burgundy needs huge guns or armour.

These are 2005 rules. I gave them +1 CP for every extra 3" that they could fire. Some weapons like the Laser Cannon are too big for infantry to carry, and can only be mounted on vehicles so their higher size rating is what is lowering their cost. But uhh, here's how it went down:
+3 CP if they were rapid-fire like the Assault Rifle
+1 CP for every extra 3" in range
+1 CP for every +2 on damage
-1 CP for an increase in use rating (Example: Light Laser Cannon UR 4)
But umm yeah, that's why there were so many casualties. All the Assyrians and Czechs wore Mimetic Armour which is a +1 armour for +1 CP but no movement penalty because it's lighter, but that's why it's only +1 not +2 in terms of armour value. But even with that it is hard for them to survive.

How do you determine the maximum number of weapons that you can put on a vehicle?
