I like building steam walkers. This is the latest one, - a rather smart and tidy unarmed scout walker that's a complete contrast to the rough and rusty glory of 'Dinosaur Hunter'.
(A leg recolouring program is going to start very soon once the bodybag of dead Bionicles I've just purchased arrives.)

The steering wheel isn't quite convincing as a means of control, - only I need to buy some levers as I haven't got any at the moment.

I must admit for me the cobbled together nature of 'Dinosaur Hunter' is a part of its charm. The reason being that something like a freelancer dinosaur hunter walker would be a fairly cobbled together piece of work.
With the scout walker I had the luxury of a lot more bricks and tiles to choose from including a few more special pieces so I could actually design it to be more of an integrated unit instead of just being a modified incomplete helicopter set on legs.
I'm going to keep 'Dinosaur Hunter' though and it will most probably become a little more refined as my brick collection grows.
Oh and I will arm the scout walker once I get the necessary bits and pieces to do it.

I hope this isn't too confusing because I seem to be working on my Elves and UnDead as well as Steampunk/Vic Sci-Fi/Treasure Hunter/Dinosaur Hunter type things.
On the Steampunk/Vic Sci-Fi/Treasure Hunter/Dinosaur Hunter I devised a simple little science as magic aerial skiff for the mysterious Great Old Ones. I'm going to use the old wargaming trick of using a modified plastic disposable wine glass to make a flier base until I find the parts to make a more Lego-like solution.
