Anything I don't know?Brikguy0410 wrote:Feudal japan, as said in the link provided by QS, it was a time of ninjas, samurai, betrayal, warrior monks (I'm not kidding, there were warrior monks) and powerful clans competing for the ultimate prize: the city of Kyoto. (Then capital of japan at the time) and while this part is my personal favorite, there are plenty of other interesting parts, like the great conquerors that Asia has produced over the centuries, like genghis khan and atila the Hun, to name a few.

Looks like Insert_Blank edited Overwatch's post.Overwatch_Elite wrote:why do people even listen to it? can't they listen to something more realistic and calming like the smiths?

For anyone who wasn't here when White Nun was still around, we had our own warrior monk right here on the site, battling pagan Trianglists:

Re: S List yo faves'
I don't know.
They keep saying RWBY.
If we don't properly name our enemies how can we tickle fight them to death, like with ISIS.
Sure their music is good but they need a better singer, I think he has throat cancer.

I'll bet those damn Trianglists are all metric.
Re: S List yo faves'
Despite how cliched it is, yo've gotta give two things to RWBY, first, it's friggin beautiful at times, second the intro to the second season is just badass. It could never have hoped to live up to red vs blue, but I'd say, Monty made an effort.

I just watched the first episode and I totally agree. The animation is pretty ugly too.Overwatch_Elite wrote:I tried to like RWBY but it was jut fucking dumb. Looks like it was made in MMD by you average 12 year old, and the voice acting is just terrible. I could probably look past that if the story was good, but nope. Maybe it gets better, but when the opening scene is a bunch of badly voiced bad guys robbing a store and then having edgy grimdark red riding hood pull out her sycthe and be like "PSSSH NOTHING PERSONAL KID" to attack a bunch of grown men i lost interest.

I just feel like if a dude who shitposts on a lego forum can do a better job naming his clearly japanimation inspired characters than a dude who apparently makes money off that shit then something is wrong.

I just think that actually animating a fight is cooler than than turning the cjharacters into flailing balls of fists and legs.

Monty Oum is an animator, not a writer. He did write RWBY tough, so that might be the reason.
