I've always thought this was silly. If you slice a bullet with a sword, now you're just getting hit with two smaller bullets. A lightsaber is even funnier; now you're getting hit with a molten bullet instead of a solid one.

Yeah that's why little swords are better. You can just deflect the bullet with your forte.

You can probably block bullets with a broad-bladed greatsword, particularly Guts's.

Yeah, with a sword like Gut's, you don't really need to worry about anything (apart from a bazooka)
