Well, technically, a Forum Battle is played using BrikWars and LEGO stuff, or similar.

Maybe Lesser Games?...

I thought a forum battle was a battle where the host posted images of the battle, the players pm'ed their orders to the host and then the host moved the troops according to the orders. I have never seen anything about a forum battle requiring Legos.

Also, this sounds freaking awesome! I'd join, if it weren't for work
If you have to ask, then the answer is yes, I am insane.

This looks fucking dumb.

Seriously though, this is BrikWars, not draw-a-fleet-wars.

... And? I found players for it, didn't I?

As long as they're happy to play, your opinion counts for nothing.

In essence. I'm sure it counts for SOMETHING, just not here and now.

Mehh, I wouldn't worry about it overly much Olothontor, some of the crusty cranks around here are as open to new ideas as a room full of ass-burger (Asberger's) sufferers. You try something new and it just upsets their orderly routine. They'll be widling the floor and getting all bent out of shape).

Sprites are not really my thing either and I don't really know how you will manage to work it, but that just makes me keep watching. Good Luck.

well i love the microspace idea and this forum battle idea, i believe that if it doesn't use legos then it shouldn't be in forum battles. maybe another section?

It was never said anywhere that the Forum Battles section was strictly for lego stuffs. And it uses BrikWars-esque rules, so I don't see why it can't make it's home here.

just becuaseit wasnt said doesn't mean it wasnt implied, its just people trying not to write more rules. would you go to a football forum and start talking about lacrosse just becuase they didnt "say" you couldnt?

im not trying to say its wrong, just try to understand the opposing arguments and understand their points of veiw.

You're Olonthotor and I respect you, but this section is now for plastic building blocks battles only. Adding to the rules. Sorry but this is the way it must be.

Do this on Bricks instead.

Why? There are no bricks involved, so putting this in bricks would just be plain wrong,
It is, however, a forum battle, and as such is rightfully placed here.
Also, how and in what way is forum battles pbb battles only? Just because it has so far only been that way? Because you say so? Why?
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

Pesgores doesn't approve your building methods, and Natalya thinks it's fucking dumb.

Therefore it more than meets all the requirements for a proper forum battle.

true, but i still don't understand why you can't just build the ships to end all this contraversy.

1). Lack of a readily accessible camera.
2). LEGOs are freakin' expensive, so unless YOU'RE paying for all of these ships...
3). Easier maneuvering, logistics, etc.

I'm not trying to be confrontational about this, but I see no reason as to why I need to be moved.

Anyway if this was somewhere else I'd just end up moving it back here regardless.
