Re: The official LOOT topic
I got me a $50 gift card, so I'm going to hit the Lego store. Also got a bunch of Brickarms WW2 guns, and some cannon fodder.
An army marches on its stomach, and its favorite food is fudge.
Re: The official LOOT topic
Had a pretty small Manly Santa Day at my house this year, so the highlight items were:
1. Watchman Graphic Novel (been meaning to pic this up since I was blown away by the movies)
2. The Mandalorian Army Booster (my brother knows me so well)
3. $25 Red Lobster Gift Card
4. Annual $50 Amazon card from my cool uncle.
5. Oh yeah! Sugru Hacking Putty!
Plus some coffee, chocolate, that sort of stuff.
Biggest fail: Got a infectious disease stress ball from ThinkGeek and like a moron cut the netting all to bits.
Going to have to find some replacement netting for it.
Second biggest fail: Got those ThinkGeek knifekey things x3, it's gotta be the most dangerous multitool ever. You would have to grip the razor sharp knife edge to use the other multitool bits. Every time you open it even just to show how dangerous it is you feel like you're going to slip and slice your hand open. God awful design. DO NOT buy one. They are trash. Literally, that is where ours are going: In the trash.
Maybe it's not in the spirit of a Brikwars haul thread, but I feel that this Manly Santa Day wasn't about the gifts or how much you got, it was more about spending time with a great family. Around my house, at least, Manly Santa Day isn't really about big cool gifts anymore, though we all try. It's just the old traditions and feeding the nostalgia.
Anyway, I hope you all had a Merry Manly Santa Day!

I gave myself a good present this year: Road trip! Only 1000 miles so far, but I expect to quadruple that in no time.

Apparently he plays drums, but also listens to LMFAO. So it doesn't really matter.

I take offense at that on the behalf of party rockers everywhere. Sure, pop may suck, but I find theirs to be good regardless.OneEye589 wrote:Apparently he plays drums, but also listens to LMFAO. So it doesn't really matter.
