I think our home page actually says that we'll get back to people "shortly", but if it says 24 hours, please let me know where so that we can change it. Most of us have full time jobs and kids and so on, so it doesn't always get monitored as well as it maybe should.Almighty Benny wrote:well so much for getting back to me within 24 hours...
Just to clear up a few things, yes we do have a membership fee. It's generally about $24 a year. That's the only fee we charge, and the money is used to pay for our website, and things like our trailer, baseplates, track, and other stuff that we use for events. I'm glad you brought up that we don't list the amount up front. We should probably think about that.
Anyway, your account should now be active. Brikwars games have been pretty light this year (see above about jobs and kids and such), but we do have a bunch of other events going on.

Thanks Elroy, that actually did clear everything up
I totally understand that you're all just regular people who have lives and what not, I was just getting frustrated because I thought I got rejected or something once I didn't hear back after 24 hours.
When you click on "Register Now!" it says that an email will be sent within 1 business day, and then once you register I think it says to expect an email within the next 24 hours. No big deal really.
Also, $24 per year is perfectly reasonable. I looked around the site and all I could find was that there was a "minimal membership fee", so I was just hoping it wasn't like $300 or something. Ha ha.
Anyway, really looking forward to becoming a member, we can now return to the regularly scheduled discussion of how incredibly awesome these post apoc vehicles are.

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...
