40k! It is more futuristic, and you can get tanks! However, it depends on if you are more unit or Soldier oriented. In Warhammar Fantasy the Units are Blocks of bases with the gus on them, where as in 40k your guys just have to be within 2" of eachother so can spread out somewhat. Really it is up to you. i personally prefer 40k.

That is a REALLY hard question to answer. Like, insanely hard. I play and greatly enjoy both, and each has it's own perks... I really don';t know if I can legitimately answer that question.
I DO know the Space Marines should be annoying enough to scare ANYONE from playing 40K. Unfortunately, because of their ridiculously overpowered state, most people play them. And thus am I a sad, sad man.

Well, Space marines are easier if you want a big army fast, because they are expensive pointwise. Guard? Don't start them. You need 20 men and a platoon command squad just to have 1 troops choice, and you have to have two in a battle. So don't start out as them.

Dump 40K for Epic, the smaller version that allows the use of bigger stuff. (Oddly) Like Titans, Superheavy Tank Formations and whole companies of tanks and men etc. The rules are far superior IMO. Find out more here.

TYRANIDS! And I don't like epic because there are no Nids, and I like 40k better, amd thats all I need.Olothontor wrote:God dammit. Another player drawn towards Space Marines and Guard.
Something is horribly wrong with the world today...
Plus, the bigger the better.

Um... are you sure of your facts?.. have a look at some of mine. Big models means less on table IMO but each to their own I guess.jifel wrote:TYRANIDS! That's something like 36,000 points of Tyranids.
Battle Report. Some small Tyranid 12,000 points vs IG and Space Marines.
