Oh man, I know a guy who made this dwarven fighter, who you utterly did not want to fuck with. He could gain huge bonuses to his attack, and was designed for crowed control. HE KILLED 8 DEAMON IN ONE SWING. Did I mention he was only 5th level? Fighters arn't about damage output, they're about how you hurt your enemy, and doing it in ways nobody else could do.

Well, spiked chains are available in 3.5, and I encourage monster NPCs, so I have no idea why those two requirements can't be met.
EDIT: Allright, tally time. How many people gonna be in the game?

You obviously haven't bothered to read the Pathfinder rules yet. Trust me; you would know why it wouldn't work if you had (p.s. I wouldn't really classify Orcs as 'monsters.' They are a humanoid race, after all. Just because they're most often evil doesn't mean you can give them that tag).Scottsamn wrote:Well, spiked chains are available in 3.5, and I encourage monster NPCs, so I have no idea why those two requirements can't be met.

Playing, anyway.
EDIT: My two-weapon Rogue is just about done. How much money do we have, now that we're third level?
And are there any restrictions on which sourcebooks I can use? So far I'm just working out of the Player's Handbook and Complete Scoundrel. Might take some equipment from Complete Adventurer.
EDIT II: As much as I bitched about it before... I'm multiclassing. Rogue 2/Swashbuckler 1. We'll see how well this character functions in combat.

lawl. and as for gold... I spend around... 800 maybe? have to double check, but that seems about right. I'm playing the sorcerer, so I didn't bother with any masterwork items and such, so that probably lowered it significantlyOlothontor wrote:EDIT II: As much as I bitched about it before... You've got 2700 gold to work with, and the game is gonna be at 7pm, PTD.
EDIT: Allright, from my count, about 6 seats should be enough. I'll go schedule the game.

Alright. Pacific is 3 hours behind the East coast? Of the other way around?
It's important, because for Ender and I it's the difference between the game starting at 4pm and the game starting at 10pm.
EDIT: A rapier in each hand with additional sneak attack damage means never having to say "I'm sorry." If I hit with both hands while flanking I can do 4d6+8 damage per round. This is an exciting prospect.
EDIT II: Actually, they're both masterwork since we have an inordinate amount of cash to waste, so make that 4d6+10. (1d6 rapier + 1d6 sneak attack + 4 Dex modifier (weapon finesse) + 1 masterwork) x2.
