Hello all

I'm a Tampa based Tabletoper getting into this magical game. I've realized that with the usage of the more advanced rules that this game ends up being a cheaper alternative to 40k, which is what I've been looking for.

Me and a few friends will be holding our first session very soon using only the core rules at first, and over time we may incorporate some of the more complex rules.

Also, any tips for building a collection of minifigs and briks in a cheap and timely manner? I've noticed that the Halloween lego packs are somewhat inexpensive and each come with 1 minifig and 1 weapon/vehicle so they seem like a good place to start. Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Battle-packs are the solution to all of your problems Jzzy. I recommend the assassin droids one, because the droids look awesome and Necron-ish. Plus, they come with some awesome, easily customizable, and sturdy vehicles, unlike the Clone Trooper's battle pack.

Of course if you want a little more flair... check out http://www.bricklink.com. It's sort of like an Ebay for Lego, without the annoying bidding and sniping.

This will help out so much, also I noticed that most of the vehicle centric sets seem to have more minifigs then the others so I'll make sure to pick those up first.

Also, welcome to the forums. In case of emergencies, a flotation device is located beneath your seat, and in the event of cabin depressurization, masks will fall from the ceiling. Speaking of j+z, I got j+z and kanye mixed up yesterday and booty bothered just about threw me down the stairs. Who'd have thought she'd get so booty bothered?
