Lingoni

The Chieftain picks up the boulder and attempts to hurl it at the Romans

The feat crit fails however, and he smashes the the head of one of his warriors instead.

The boulder rolls harmlessly to the base of the hill.

Undaunted by his failure, he charges into the fray along with the rest of of the Lingoni. Two are impaled by the remaining pilum.

In the resulting close combat, 3 Legionaries and 2 warriors fall.

Aemilius Paulus kills another of his attackers, who wiff their attacks.
Drakhirri

The Drakhirri archers combine fire on the lead cavalry man on the Roman left, and do enough overkill to tear through both rider and horse.

Two Drakhirri scouts kill the next cavalryman, who misses with his response.

Apparently, this scout prefers gardening to killing, as he chops off another tree branch.

He is however, fine with dying, as he redshirts for his commander, who simultaneously beheads another Roman.
Romans

The two remaining cavalrymen skewer the archers.

Aemilius Paulus kills his last assailant, but it requires his action and feat, so he then moves to behind the Legionaries.

The chieftain is attacked by three Romans.

And a redshirt takes the damage.

The combat on the left flank continues, now three on two.

With a couple of crits, the Lingoni manage to take down the centurion despite his armor, although he does take one warrior with him. The other attacks are ineffective.
