Wait this is actually pretty cool.

It's been a while since we've had a good fig-scale spacefleet fight (CAID Sector was in 2009). Any hope of seeing these guys in a fight?

Only slightly better than seeing BW2018 come out this year.

Are there close ups of that black submarine thing hiding somewhere?

Another great army! good job. They need more ground forces and standartized troops.

It's on my wishlist! At the moment, I have a good structure for the infantry and everyone is standardized within their specialization, except they're basically all stormtroopers of one kind or another. Which is functional, but not that cool. I'd like to give the infantry more personality, but investing in minifigs is too expensive for me right now.

The M ako Interceptor is the Council's sole starfighter. Large engine nacelles make it fast and maneuverable. It is armed with two forward slug cannons and a ventral red vorp turret. While it is lethal against other starfighters, its large profile and minimal armor make it fodder for larger warships.

The M ako is a ship that I have been sitting on for a few years. I built one engine nacelle and really liked the design, but didn't have the parts to build another one until a few weeks ago. It is a re-imagining of the fighter below which is from 2012ish. Not sure which one is actually better though... While the new design has a clean sky-fi look, its granddaddy is mean and ugly and a little more Brikwarsy.

Introducing the Mobile Suit Type 500, seen here with a Shinji Interceptor. The Type 500 is as fast as a starfighter, with greater flexibility, armor, and firepower. In addition to its 5" assault rifle, it carries a 2" pistol and an 9" Red Vorpal Sword. A blast shield on its right arm provides extra defenses against heavy weapons.

Only the most qualified pilots ever get to fly one, and only true prodigies become aces. The current top ace is Chap Zanagher, who once destroyed an Imperial Frigate single-handedly. Zanagher is most often seen escorting the president of the Council of 500 through dangerous space. Like most Type 500 pilots, his mere presence ensures victory in any space engagement.

What do you guys think of the photoediting? I might eventually invest in a lightbox, but I kind of like the workshop background. Fading it out does a lot for making the models pop.

It's sick. I love it. Really helps making the builds stand out of the back ground.

Yes indeed, the image really made an impression when I browsed through my unread. Nice photo. I am more a fan of the fighter, but really like the little details like the comm unit (?) next to the mobile suits head/helmet.

I think it looks good.
Its got some gray haze around the edges, how did you cut it out.

I don't have the fancy versions so I would probably be doing it that hard way, light box is faster.

GIMP, just lassoed the models and feathered the edges. I used to do that when shopping onto solid color backgrounds but I'll try a sharp edge next time.
