"There was a massive invasion on the planet Bluvius Prime, the homeplanet of Bluvians. The planet which was once a peaceful, modern planet covered with forests and lakes became a hell during the invasion. The Bluvians defended their homeplanet at all cost. The orbital bombardment of the invasion fleet turned the forests to dust, lakes to vapor. After several counterattacks of the Bluvians the initial speed of the invasion slowed down but the war turned into a planetwide trench warfare. One by one the major cities of the planet fell into enemy hands. The last stand of the Bluvians was happening in the trenches dug around the capitol yet they are outnumbered and outgunned. While the invasion forces are gathering for the planned final attack the invaders leading commander came down to lead the attack. Getting this intel, the legendary commander of the Bluvians, Victor Actarious planned a suprise counter-attack gathering all his remaining forces together to destroy the enemy headquarters with one and swift blow like an arrow shot at enemies heart.
And the day came. The last offensive of the Bluvians started. The defensive enemy forces can't belive their eyes. The outnumbered Bluvians started a massive attack. The invaders quickly loaded their weapons and started bombarding the Bluvian trenches as well as the nomans land. Shells dug huge holes in the ground, gun-shots deafening the ears yet the Bluvians won't stop until victory of death. Will they be succesful?"
Hi guys this is my entiry for the JJJ18 contest. I'm really excited when I heard about the contest yesterday and I started building rightaway. Here is a diorama depicting official rulebook "Officer" figure which I call as the Bluvian commander: Victor Actarius. The name Bluvia comes simply because of their blue uniforms. I tried to make the battlefield as detailed as possible with different small details like burned corpses, detached tank tracks laying around etc. I hope you like it.

As many of you already realized the diorama is depicting the scene we see on the "Officer" reference card art. There here a view angle resembling the card art.

Heh, that's pretty awesome.

Nice trench scene. I think you could imitate the pose just slightly more, but that's something really minor.

Nice job on the torso! Do you have the design available?

This build is Owen Wilson levels of ‘wow’,
Substance – 9/10
Everything about this build is fantastic. Let alone the BW Officer fig, the terrain is very nice.

Light and crisp, pretty much perfect photography.

Everything that's there is quite good, but it doesn't really seem like there's any threat to the Bluvians. It seems like they're just running out into an empty battlefield. I don't know if maybe the bushes are supposed to be explosions, but they just look like dead bushes to me. Some gunfire or explosions coming at them would have been good. Also that officer minifig is lovely.
Substance: 8/10
That's some grade-A terrain sculpting, and I'm glad you put some thought into the placement of the different shades of brown, rather than just sprinkling them everywhere. I think the turret brings down the quality of the build a bit, and would have been better improved or left out.

Nothing to really say here, other than "great job".
