A few (Ish) questions

Post by Cracjaw » Mon Mar 02, 2020 8:58 am

6) My first question, do Pistols (and Knives) have different rules than other guns? I think that since a pistol is normally like a last ditch weapon, it would have less damage. I don't know, same with the Knife. Since knives are harder to wield, does that mean you need higher skill? Or do they stay the same as the small versions?

7) How exactly does an Angry Inch work?

8) How do Mom's and Pop's work clearly?

9) Where the heck can you buy an OTC?

10)If you only have, like say, a 1D6, how would you substitute for a 1D10 or higher? (I have the right dice, I am asking for a friend)

11) How does a 1D4 work?

12) How does minifigure power work?

13) Is this long enough?

Thanks in advance for answering. I guess I am just a noob and can't figure out these simple rules.

I can answer Question 4, OTCs can be found on sites like bricklink or brickowl under Part # 6117 or the name "Trans-Neon Orange Minifigure, Utensil Tool Chainsaw Blade".

1) Nah they work just the same as other one handed weapons.

2) Shit, I've never used angry inches, but I think if you're in melee you get to move 1" before attacking.

3) No one knows. But it's something like, if a car or something crashes into an elephant, they each do damage to each other, 1d6 for every 2 inches the car moved. But they can't do more damage d6s than their respective Size. So if the car is Size 3 and the elephant is Size 4, the car can't do more than 3d6 damage, and the elephant can't do more than 4d6 damage, even if the car moved further than 6" or 8" before the crash.

These are the rules that I use and the actual rules are probably different

4) Bricklink

5) Roll 2d6 and subtract 2, 0 is 10. That's not statistically equivalent but hey, it's something.

6) Read the number that is turned the right way (not sideways) after the die is rolled. Some d4s have the number at the top, other at the bottom.

7) No clue

8) Sure

For the question about dice: if you have a scientific calculator than you can do randint(1,10)

Oh, don’t forget to start your lists at 6.

There are plenty of apps you can get on your phone that can roll dice of various sizes.
