Autocannons.

Simple question, would an autocannon, (a low caliber, typically 20-35mm, quick firing cannon)be classified as a machine gun, or a cannon in-game?

I'd stat them up as very large machine guns. Depending on the type of ammo you're imagining, I might swap out pairs of damage d6es for individual explosive d10s.
