The damaged Eagle fires at the Star of Assyria's port side main turret, and takes it out!
And then it flies into a less vulnerable position.
Since the fighters are so close to the Star of Assyria, the Dominator instead fires it's turrets at the Star and manage to knock off a SP!
Then it joins the damaged Eagle.
The other Eagle maneuvers itself closer to the wrecked ship, then fires on the last Mercury, further damaging it.
And lastly, the mobhunters split up.
Two fire onto the Mercury and put it out of action,
While the other three fire at the Star.
Due to some ludicrous damage, they manage to destroy an engine, further crippling the Assyrian Destroyer.
Assyrian point defense returns fire, and knocks out a mobhunter.
The fighters then use up the rest of their movement.
Assyrians - Cracjaw
The rear main turret fires on a mobhunter and takes out it's shields.
Then the Star of Assyria moves forward as best it can, and the crew manage to restore 2 shield points!
The fighters swing round and protect the Destroyer's port side.
Akkadians - ArchyX74
The fighters fire again on the Immortal Destroyer, but it's armor holds.
Then they fly off.
The crippled Assault Cruiser fires it's main turrets at the Destroyer, damaging it.
And with a crazed look in his eye, the captain presses one final button before joining his surviving crew on the starboard boarding pod, which launches.
The mangled Cruiser collides with the Destroyer!
Ba-Booooom!
The Cruiser completely incapacitates the Destroyer, leaving it with one SP but no engines or bridge, so it's as good as dead.
The intact Cruiser starts making it's way towards the mystery ship.
Immortals - NPC
The two fighters flip 180 and fly back towards the Akkadians.
Battlecruiser - TheTrollgineer
The Battlecruiser flies towards the Neo-Prussians, ending up just out of range to attack.
Meanwhile, on board the Assault Cruiser:
The Akkadians won initiative, so the two fanatics turn the corner, firing at the middle Immortal. Their shots fail to break his armor, however.
Then everyone fires while the fanatics advance.
One Terrorkhan falls!
Then they swiftly get into cover.
Immortals
The surviving Terrorkhan fires his grenade launcher...
Ka-Booom!
And he takes out a fanatic and a marine.
This guy swiftly dispatches the other fanatic with his beamsabre.
He admires his handiwork.
Then everyone advances as best they can.
