Siege of Seleho Station

Post by Vomarsk » Mon Jun 15, 2026 5:04 am

The Relais Station on Seleho is the centerpiece of all Alliance operations on the planet. Artifacts from their excavations are brought here for cataloguing and storage until one of their transport ships can pick it up to bring to the fleet. As such, the Station has become a target for numerous groups, trying to grab some of the Alliance's loot from them. And with the recent Raids on their Excavations and convoys, the Defenders of the Station are spread thin, aloowing some attackers to slip through...

Turn 1

Lured in by the Tobacco plant that the Alliance found at one of their Excavation sites, a group of Dinosaurs (played by Arkbrik) are approaching the station.
A Squad of Jaffa has also made it to the planet. As part of the Stargods' greater invasion, Bastet has sent forth her First Prime and some of her elite guards to claim Seleho and its treasures for their god.

Even though the First Prime doesn't really know what's up with the plant, it seems to be of interest to both the Alliance and the Dinos, so she charges toward it with two the two Bastet Guards to claim it for her god. from the top of the ramp, the group of Jaffa fire upon the smoking T-Rex, but the Stegosaurus jumps in the way of their blasts, taking one wound.

Seeing the wounded monster, the death tank's pilot decides to put it out of its misery and unleashes all of his guns into it.

Amokin' Rex apparently does not like to get shot. He runs over to the Jaffa and attempts to blow the smoke from his joint at them to blind them. Unfortunately, he chokes on it and is stuck coughing.

His buddies, the Pteranodon and Dilophosaurus climb up to the station. The Dilo tries to spit venom at the Jaffa, but misses them.

Turn 2

Seeing the flying Dino approach them, the Prime orders her troops to shoot it down, but the dino manages to dodge and hide behind one of the Station's towers, which takes some minor damage due to the shots hitting it.

The tank driver brings his vehicle closer to the battle to try and hit both the Rex and the Dilo with his turret, however both cannons overheat on the first shot.

While the First Prime is deistracted harvesting some of the tobacco plant to bring back to her master (+4pts), the Pteranodon flies around the station, sweeps down and bites off the head of one of the two Bastet Guards.

The other Guard gets spit on by the Dilo, succumbing to its venom.

While his buddies fight the Jaffa Guards, Rex bites into the Death Tank's turrets and rips it off.

He then proceeds to blow smoke into the newly created hole in the vehicles armor, which fills the cockpit and blinds the driver. Meanwhile, the Dilo smokes some of the Tobacco (+3pts)

Turn 3

In a valiant effort to defend the Tobacco plant from the Dinos (and steal it for the Jaffa), the Prime fires at the Dilo, but her staff weapon doesn't manage to wound the dreature. She does however manage to harvest some more of the plant. (+4pts)

The blinded tank driver rotates his vehicle around and shoots at the T Rex - or at least he shoots where he thinks that the Dino is standing (he is, in fact, not standing there)
Image

The two Dinos on the station jump the Prime who, in a last ditch effort to save erself from their attack, tries to jam her staff inbetween their jaws. The Dinos prove to powerful and the staff breaks, exploding and doing some extra damage to the prime, while she's already being ripped apart by Dinosaurs.

The Rex continues dismantling the Death tank, ripping off another gun.

His buddies smoke the rest of the plant to celebrate their victory. (+1pts)
With no Tobacco left to fight over, the Dinos retreat, leaving the damaged Death tank to pick up what remains of Bastet's royal Guard and the Tobacco that they managed to harvest before their ufortunate demises. A victory for the Jaffa, albeit a costly one.
