Well, here is an "old style" and simple design that has been retrieved from the past and brought before you.
The Magog has served in many wars and can be easily maintained and assembled in the field. The Immortals maintain many of these as planetary defence units although they can also be launched from Fleet Carriers too. They are small, light, pack a punch and relatively cheep. There are many options for weapon payloads, this one is armed for Fighter and Light Shipping engagements but they may be used on ground targets and in many other rolls as required.
Two Snub Nosed Ion Storm Cannon (Anti Shipping)
Quad Lasers
Three Laser Lances
Two Concussion Missile Tubes

I like how thin it is.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

If I were taking it on and couldn't blow it out of the sky, i'd try kamikaze-dive an AI plain loaded with explosives into the back of the windscreen/cockpit

Cheers, guys...
Well, the reference I know is a story of the Island of Albion and some very wicked ladies that were wed to Daemons and later gave birth to a race of Giants. Gog and Magog were two of these giants. I chose this because of the whole Immortals thing... you may have missed it here so have a link...

Speed is the Magogs main weapon. It is fast and manoeuvrable making it deadly in fighter engagements. It can perform in support rolls too. Think A-Wing with better speed and almost a B-Wings weapons. It has shields but there only as good as the X-Wing say. There not invincible but the Immortals can put these things out in there droves. I have the parts for at least eight of these the last time I tried.
