The back can swivel open for troops, supplies, lots of explosives, corn dogs, what ever ya need.
Image

missile things(on both sides) can also swivel
Image

Cockpit can also swing up, easy access n' stuff.
Image

Minifigs can also climb the top, cover up their, height advantage, awesomeness, Etc.... And its got two big gun things on the front.

In all honesty, it looks boring.

Make it lower, and look deadlier. it laught if that thing was coming towards me.

As for design details, the colors look way off. I recommend green, black, and brown. Not very many people use that color scheme.

Also, Make the shape match a curvy inside doesn't work well of the outside is jutting and angular, but it does work if the outside is curved.

it's better than most for a first creation, but it does look fairly...wrong.

Looks pretty decent for a first, but I think you're forgetting something. Those pieces that you use for the swivels are loose pivots, in that they'll just flop if you let go of them. You need these two pieces instead:

K thanks, i needed a different view, it does need a bit of tweaking. And as for the loose pivot, itll work if i jam a piece of paper in there a bit.

It's great that you incorporated easy access features for playability and I understand this is your first creation, and digital too, however there is room for a ton of improvement. The "antennae" are not cutting it. I would suggest a roof mounted turret. As for the body, it's just a block on wheels. Come up with an objective design and function. If it's supposed to be an APC then make it an APC.

Check out Flickr for a lot of good refrences from great builders. You can also add photos you like to your favorites if you sign up for an account. Take a look at some of the refrences I've saved from other builders:

(I'll just post links to ensure that you see from which builder these creations are coming from and you can explore more of their photostreams.)

As Silent mentioned here is an ex. of a brown and green colorscheme. See how the missile pad is really integrated into the design. Also, he breaks up the plain blockiness with some sleek shapes.

This is a true APC. Although the color is mainly grey he breaks it up with some clean lines in off colors. And again, it's blocky but sleek.

I know this post is long, but I haven't said much on this forum in at least a year. Finally returning for a bit this summer. (For some reason my school server blocks this address.) Would like to build more but right now I'm limited on funds, but maybe that'll change in a couple weeks.

It could have a more original look for its awesomeness, yet it seems to be functional and gets the job done.

Also congrats, your a newbie that didnt ask how to post pics :)

I'd say lose the two forward mounted big gun things (antenae). Otherwise, I think it looks original and great... kind of like a SWAT wagon only made for the battlefield.

Since the apparent purpose of this thing is to transport troops, I think the rockets are enough armament to support getting your troops into position and dismounted... removing the questionably unfashionable forward mounted guns could save on CP which might be better spent on arming your troops as payload?
