Albrecht was the only son of Mondaine Magnus and heir to the Imperial throne. Albrecht was known for being kind-hearted and caring about his people, however he was rather hotheaded and reckless, which often got him into trouble. He was last seen in Direwood, battling the undead menace.

Apollyon is a descendant of the Hawkcrest family, however he spent most of his life serving the Runic Order from a young age. Since then, he has advanced ranks from squire to paladin, and become one of the greatest knights the order ever had.

Arthel Wolfsbane was the last of the Wolfsbane family, the nobility that ruled Direwood, a Northern province of the Empire. Arthel lost his family after the Awakening, and was forced into hiding until the Empire managed to reestablish contact with Direwood. He was a grizzled but sound tactician and an adept warrior loved by many. He met his end during the final battle against the Warlock.

Mondaine is the second King of the Empire, following the rule of his father, Aurelius Magnus. He is a wise and noble king, who cares deeply about his people, and wishes to bring end to the constant wars. He is backed up by such powerful allies as Majisto the Blue. Mondaine’s task is not a simple one; he must keep all every noble (and its armies) in line, as some are considering separation, which would badly undermine the Empire in times of war. Sometimes he’d rather abandon politics and join his men on the fields of battle, fighting by their side, as the High Kings of old did.

Zuleika is a half-ork, born during the first orkish invasion. Her mother was ostracized and forced to leave her village after childbirth, she found refuge at an abandoned woodcutter's cottage deep in the woods. Zuleika was raised there and learned most of her skills involving stealth and subtlety by exploring the woodlands. When her mother passed away, Zuleika, due to the prejudice against her looks had no other option than to become a thief and a bandit to sustain herself. Her travels brought her to the Imperial City, where she tried to pickpocket a fancy nobleman. Said nobleman turned out to be King Mondaine himself, in disguise, who caught Zuleika red-handed. She was immediately captured by Mondaine's guards; however, instead of execution or prison, Mondaine offered her to join the Imperial Intelligence, as she proved herself more than capable bypassing his guards in disguise as well. Since then, Zuleika is one of the master spies and assassins of the Imperial Intelligence; her last adventure involved escorting Liana Crowclaw and her party from Ursa Hold to the Imperial City.

== Dragon Guard of Wyvar ==

Dragon Guard is the formal name for knightly and military forces that serve kingdom of [[Wyvar]], a feudal nation located in the [[Eastfold Isles]] on the planet [[Medivo]]. The kingdom first made contact with the greater [[Brikverse]] in [[BR 2,010]] and feature prominently in the many [[Battle Reports]] narrated by [[Rev. Sylvanus]]' [[human]] counterpart. Known for an elegant barding design and heavy use of [[Tactics and Strategy]], the Dragon Guard have battled such prominent adversaries as [[Lord Mercat's]] [[Mythic Order]] and [[dirtycajun's]] [[Horror Corps]].

== Historical Overview ==

In BR 2,010 Lucien Sylvanus, distant heir to the [[Royal Bloodlines|Ancient Dragon line]], first marshaled the warriors who would come to be known as the Dragon Guard.

By [[BR 2,011]], the battles of this era were petty and exploratory at best, including conquests over various [[Rainbow Knights]] and Pulp Adventure archaeologists. Sylvanus forged his first friendships with the Majistiks and Darius, the three of whom became well known for invading dormitory desks and even Hobby Shop gaming tables. Wyvar's [[kanon]] changed drastically after a skirmish against the Drakhirri. In the midst of battle, the Hiimboredagain emerged from the dunes, slew several of the Guard, and were framed by Darius for the death of Leoncor Princess Dreska.

Struggles against the Hiimboredagain drove the Dragon guard into brief seclusion in [[BR 2,012]] as Lucien and Darius conferred over how to combat the barbarian threat.

Lucien's army mobilized for conflict once again in [[BR 2,013]]; Black Falcon, Crusader, and Forestmen influences reached new heights in the Eastfold Isles, resulting in battle after battle against new cunning foes. This year is also held as a great time of mourning; on the battlefield of Thairm, Dragon Guard forces clashed with the Mythic Order over the fabled [[Sword of Aurora]] (an implement both Darius and Lucien deemed necessary in their conflict with the barbarian hordes). On a scouting mission, Lucien was defeated by bowmaster Arycelle; though his body was never found, ninja Ten Ishu reports that Sylvanus' sword and helm rest at the Thairm Falls overlooking a freshly dug grave. With the purported death, generalship of the Dragon Guard has now passed to the militant Darius, horse-lord and marshal of the Dragon Knights.

Thanks to chunks of alternate universes constantly flying around and interfering with the timeline, minifigs of all universes have long accepted the cyclikal nature of reality as scientific fact. However, the existence of simultaneous parallel dimensions was not definitively proven until G.R. 1,993, when an elderly [[Medivo]] wizard completed his lifelong research project.

This wizard, known to his Dragon Lord employers only as the Majistik, theorized that if parallel dimensions existed, some portion of them must include parallel versions of himself, and some portion of those would conduct the exact same research he was, trying to redirect Medivan ley lines across dimensional boundaries rather than simple geographic ones. After decades of attempts, he and eleven parallel Majistiks proved themselves correct. Their blindly aimed Magikal Feats succeeded to create the first network of interdimensional ley lines.

== Creation of the Order ==

After drawing straws to assign themselves personal numbers, the Majistik 12 used their ley-line network to gain access to hundreds of parallel universes, recruiting hundreds of other less-successful parallel Majistiks in the process. Before long, the Majistik 12 controlled one of the most powerful organizations ever to exist, thanks to their powerful magik and unlimited access to countless universes and time periods. The original 12 Majistiks ruled as a council of Arch-Majists, each overseeing councils of 12 High Majisters, who in turn oversee their own groups and subgroups of 12 down to the lowliest Majists, Myjstiks, and Majistik Initiates.

Due to their minimal presence in any single dimension, the power of the Majistik 12 remained unchallenged and even largely unnoticed in their own universes, but as the ley-line network continued to grow, Majistik portals opened more and more often into the [[Negaverse]] and other dimensions of evil and chaos. By G.R. 1,995, the Majistiks' power and resources were completely consumed in repelling invading forces and cutting off their own corrupted portal networks. Already at the breaking point, they were unprepared for betrayal from one of their own employees - an adjunct chronology professor named Cypher, tasked with training initiates in the Myjstik Mountain of Medivo #6,494.

== Betrayal and Rise of Dimmies ==

Turned down for a full professorship one time too many, Doctor Cypher used the Myjstik Mountain's Time Lab to secretly transport samples of Negagenetik material deep into his own evolutionary past. Over millions of years, these genetik aberrations were diluted across the entire minifig population of his world. The mutations were too slight to be noticed under normal conditions, but when exposed to Nega-radiation from an unsecured portal, Cypher's victims rapidly devolved into imbecilic zombies. Cypher himself remained protected behind lead shielding, making him the smartest minifig in a world full of idiots. Promoting himself to Professor, Cypher and his newly created [[Dimmies]] tore apart the already-besieged Majistik organization from within, leaving the remaining Majistiks isolated and scattered.

With the rise of the Dimmies and the fall of Majistik 12, Negaverse forces were able to take control and corrupt large sections of the ley-line network and make huge inroads into minifig reality, paving the way for an almost unimaginable rise to power that culminated in the [[Poop Invasion]] of G.R. 2,002. The huge influx of Nega forces and Poop Dragons overloaded the corrupted ley-line network, turning them into wildly unstable bley-lines and changing the color of the entire universe in an event that came to be known as the [[Gray Shift]].

For the record, Rev. Sylvanus is actually a Reverend. Seriously. He's got the degree and the collar to prove it. LEGO have long factored into the Rev's free time, beginning with nostalgic collections of classic castle products, eventually transmorphing into a love for war gaming. Rev. first stumbled upon BrikWars during a random internet excursion. As other hobby games were often out of his price-range, BrikWars became a staple at Rev's gaming events. Though BrikWars itself internally deconstructive--and ultimate satire--, the Rev. does enjoy a technical and tactical game. Lucien Sylvanus is the given name to a regent of [[Wyvar]] in the [[Eastfold Isles]] of [[Medivo]]. He received regional renown as a charismatic, reverent leader and somewhat reckless youth. Legend holds that Lucien himself was the one to filch a griffin egg from a mother's next, providing the [[Dragon Guard]] with their very own war griffin.

As a battlefield commander, Lucien often leads infantry on foot, wielding swords and warhammers with equal skill. Some time before ascending to rulership of Wyvar, he befriended the [[Majistik Order of Wizards]]. These cantankerous old men quickly became his mentors, bolstering the ranks of Lucien's military with sufficient magikal might.

The planet which is recorded in the galactic databanks as #37563, also referred to as ’Medivo’ is a small, Earth-like geoid in a rather small and remote galaxy. It resembles [[Earth]], both in size and geology; though the galactic factions only show little interest towards it, as its core has a unique kind of radiation: said radiation negates all high-tek reactors and engines, thus making orbiting impossible. The planet however can be accessed via magikal means, such as dimensional portals and warp rifts.

The unique radiation is also responsible for the halt of regular teknologikal advancements, hence the natives are stuck at a medieval/early renaissance teklevel. The planets' inhabitants live as the ancient royal bloodline’s descendants, but at a different time and place, and while the forces and factions resemble those of the age of modern dragon’s ones, it’s all just for the sake of plot convenience.

Medivo currently has three known continents:

Several smaller isles (and potentially other continents) exist as well, though they are not well documented by cartographers, as all continents' inhabitants are locked in constant conflict. As such, diplomacy between continents is non-existent/limited.

In G.R. 2010 Lucien Sylvanus, distant heir to the Ancient Dragon line, first marshaled the warriors who would come to be known as the Dragon Guard.

By G.R. 2011, the battles of this era were petty and exploratory at best, including conquests over various Rainbow Knights and Pulp Adventure archaeologists. Sylvanus forged his first friendships with the Majistiks and Darius, the three of whom became well known for invading dormitory desks and even Hobby Shop gaming tables. Wyvar's [[kanon]] changed drastically after a skirmish against the Drakhirri. In the midst of battle, the Hiimboredagain emerged from the dunes, slew several of the Guard, and were framed by Darius for the death of Leoncor Princess Dreska. Struggles against the Hiimboredagain drove the Dragon guard into brief seclusion in G.R. 2012 as Lucien and Darius conferred over how to combat the barbarian threat.

Lucien's army mobilized for conflict once again in G.R. 2013; Black Falcon, Crusader, and Forestmen influences reached new heights in the Eastfold Isles, resulting in battle after battle against new cunning foes. This year is also held as a great time of mourning; on the battlefield of Thairm, Dragon Guard forces clashed with the Mythic Order over the fabled Sword of Aurora (an implement both Darius and Lucien deemed necessary in their conflict with the barbarian hordes). On a scouting mission, Lucien was defeated by bowmaster Arycelle; though his body was never found, ninja Ten Ishu reports that Sylvanus' sword and helm rest at the Thairm Falls overlooking a freshly dug grave. With the purported death, generalship of the Dragon Guard has now passed to the militant Darius, horse-lord and marshal of the Dragon Knights.
