The Blue Heliad Sciences Corporation is a militarized science and technology company with roots in the United Systems Alliance, with a system-spanning distribution of warehouses, laboratories and orbital stations. The current CEO of this company is Corbin Silversun, whilst the 1st. Military Division is led by his sun, Captain Lance Amadeus Silversun. Blue Heliad Sciences produces a variety of weapons and war machines, specializing in combat walkers designed for military or scouting purposes. The company is also a part of the Intermarium Coalition against kommunist space parties such as the Spaze Nazis or the USSSR. A shipwrecked Blue Heliad pilot was also responsible for the founding of the Royal Azure Imperium on the minute fringe world of Azure.

The Blue Heliad Sciences Corporation was founded as a simple appliance company on a small world in the United Systems Alliance, under the name 'Blue Heliad Appliances'. However, when the appliances began turning on their respective owners and wreaking destruction on their neighborhoods, the company's CEO - one Halberd Silversun - discovered that his talent was not truly in inventing, but in creating weapons that challenged current scientific understanding. Rebranding his company as the Blue Heliad Sciences Corporation, he worked to build weapons that soon became fanatically popular across many United Systems Alliance worlds, offering military-grade firepower to any civilian who could afford it.

Today, with the company celebrating its 150th anniversary, ownership resides with Chief Executive Officer Corbin Silversun. Blue Heliad technology has become a frequent addition to the forces of many factions, countries, and mercenaries, not always with their knowledge. What began as an appliance company now manufactures weapons, beamsabers, chainblades fit for space combat, Scout and Military Walkers, hover-vehicles, naval vessels, cannon emplacements, orbital platforms, small starships and much more. In order to defend its warehouses and intervene in galactic affairs when necessary, Blue Heliad has formed a small but powerful militia of its own, headed by Corbin Silversun's son and future heir to the company, Captain Lance Amadeus Silversun.
