No matter how great or small, a Character in BrikWars is a creature who not only possesses a species, a type, evolutions, specialties, and/or themes but who also owns a distinct personality and backstory. These additional traits make her, if even for the briefest, shining moment, more important than his fellows. Characters are a large part of what drives the BrikWars [[Narrative]]. They may spring up from humble beginnings or spring into existence fully formed from the imaginations of [[god]]s and [[human]]s. They may contribute only minimally before being obliterated like the rest of their kin or they may continue to drive major parts of the narrative forward, possibly eventually even becoming [[SigFig]]s.

Characters are often described individually under the [[Faction]] they belong to or the [[Player]] they represent.
