House Shadho was once the most noble and [[honor]]able of the Great Houses of [[Mocia]], but their opposition to [[Rainbowism]] cost them dearly, and they fell into disgrace with the rise of the Rainbowist [[King MethHouse]] in [[BR 2,004]]. The Shadho claim descent from the [[Yellow King]] through the [[ShadowHawk]] bloodline.

The Shadho were stripped of their lands and holdings, which were usurped by their cousins in the more Rainbow-[[friend]]ly House [[Rayho]]. Destitute and unable to maintain their once proud army of [[Shadho Knights]], the great majority of their forces left to sell their services as [[mercenaries]] or joined the [[VladTron Rebellion]] against the Rainbowists.

With the Shadho defenses in disarray, House Rayho, under the control of the house matriarch [[Rayho's Mom]], took immediate advantage and arranged for the capture or assassination of the Shadho noble family members. It is believed that the remaining heir to the Shadho bloodline, the [[Faucon of Shadho]], is held hostage in a secret Rayho sky prison against the possibility of Shadho loyalists attempting [[revenge]].
