A general in the Nitronian Marine Corps disagreed with the ideas of his higher ranking counterparts, and defected along with a small group of loyal troops. The group, dubbed 'the Wartirnian Mercenaries' after the Nitronian system of Wartirna, has proven themselves a tough opponent for most armies, even decisively demolishing the 3rd Regular Army Deserters in G.R. 2,013. Their jetpacks and high-tek assault rifles allow them to swiftly outmaneuver and gun down any standing foe. Indeed, a force to be reckoned with.
