Red is the main protagonist of the story. He wears a Red GrimDark suit. Before the story began, Red was an ADU aperative. However, after being attacked by FunBots, he was the first person to be given a GrimDark suit by the Professor, to fight off the aforementioned enemies.His sister, Ruby, is also secretly in love with him.

Green is an elf warrior, who was also attacked by Funbots, and then recruited to the EdgeForce and given the Green GrimDark Suit. His real name is unpronounceable, so is usually known as Sage Green.

Also known as the Professor, Blue created the GrimDark Suits. Because his budget is mostly from toy sales, he designs his creations to be appealing to children, and tells people whatever weapon is being used "is in stores now".
