A hardsuit is a small power armour exoskeleton piloted by a single minifig. Unlike regular heavy armour, a hard suit is propelled by its own power source, usually an micro-nuclear reactor or fuel cells or some other techknowlogy. The most important thing a hardsuit does is it allows the occupant to carry bigger guns than would normally be impossible without compensating or losing mobility. The second most important thing they do is they look really cool.
