The Monolith Imperiya /Mo-no-lith Im-peer-iya/ (Monolyth Script: Монолитная Империя) is a faction from the Monolith Battleplates  and is considered to be the largest and most powerful of the known factions of the realm. When the realm was created, nefarious powers modelled this new Empire directley after the fallen Galacian Imperiya

Background
The origins of the Imperiya as an organization as old as the realm itself, or so old that no one really remembers when, where or how it started. It was believed to be started by a powerful individual with special powers, not unlike how the Vorhut Order had started.

But somewhere along the line the Imperiya had taken the form of a Government of regular minifigs. In the later days, after the establishment and expansion of the power of the Anwar Council, the Imperiya had begun to act in contradiction to the general rule of the Central administration.  Dozens of plate cities in the southern clusters that had benefited directly from the protection and governance of the Imperiya faction had elected to declare total independence from Anwar. And going forward would only interact with the Anwar Council on the matters of trade or foreign diplomacy.

Prior to the events of Ragnablok,  The Imperiya had become embroiled in a competition with another entity in the North doing similar things as they, the Stroiteliga Bratva, or "Builder's League" was an organization dedicated to creating a realm that was open and free of Harsh rule. It's entire reason for existence was to spite and contradict the Imperiya. The two groups battled for ages, and their conflict created much of the world the Monolith Realm is known for today

Ethos & Objectives
The Imperiya is an age old establishment. Promoting the ideals of law and order throughout the realm and to build a prosperous and glorious civilization

Out of all the factions of the Monolith Battleplates, with the exception of the city-states themselves, Imperiya is the most concerned with establishing a permanent dominion and maintaining a government over civilians.  The reasoning not out of a desire to be bureaucratic or benevolent. But out of a paranoid agenda to maintain security and order throughout the cities to keep the minifigs docile, and otherwise not joining Gangs or Cults. Imperiya goes so far as to train militias of villages and towns to police the regions it can't be bothered with.

Imperiya seeks to fight the forces of disorder and mayhem. But at the same time, opposes any group that may challenge it's position. Fighting against savages, gangs, and other armies for sport. Their engineers constantly create war machines and weapons out of raw materials scavenged from the wastes, and scientists occasionally make portals to raid other dimensions.

Imperiya is also notorious for employing locals from towns and villages, and training them into auxiliary security forces. All with the intention of spreading "Order" throughout the world with as many allies as possible.

Leadership
The Monolith Imperiya had traditionally followed the rule of a single "Emperor", for which the Imperiya got it's name. However for reasons unknown, the Imperiya has been without a central leader for a very long time. The very symbolic throne that was sat upon by the emperor, is not only vacant, but outright dissapeared.  Yet the mission of the entity remains unchanged. It is generally accepted that a supreme commander leads the Imperiya, but is subservient to the Emperor of the realm. In the absence of a true Ruler, the Supreme Commander effectively controls the Imperiya in it's entirety

The inner workings of the Imperiya are largely unknown to the outside world. But many beileve the Imperiya's appearance power is a facade, and that it is a fragile tinderbox ready to start fighting with itself. Many of the troops and officers of the group have formed their own cliques, clubs and subfactions. Many are also defectors or converts from other factions, existing or absorbed.  And their loyalties may lie more with their old officers than the Imperiya at large

It is a widespread habit amoungst the leaders of the Imperiya, to rarely take off their helmets in public..

| Supreme Commander

| First mentioned in Chapter 3 but not properly encountered until later, The Military leader and acting ruler of the combined Imperiya forces. His origins are unknown.  Beileved to have arisen during the last period in which the Realm had a singular Emperor who had appointed him.

At the climax of Ragnablok, and the events at the Nexus between Kast, Shulga and the Monolith. Sergachev was duped by Shulga's Avatar into launching a manhunt across the realm for Kast.

| Commander

| Second in Command of the combined Imperiya Forces,  Varone's position officially, was to act as a successor to Sergachev in the event of an untimely demise. And generally to serve both as an extension to the Supreme Commmand's authority, as well as a check and balance to his power in the event of Misuse.

Varon Is rarely seen or mentioned. Whatever he is doing at any given time is usually behind the scenes. His Largest responsibility within the Imperiya is the growth and training of new troops.

Avatar *Secret*

| The individual known to the vast majority of the Realm as "Shulga" is in fact an avatar for the Corrupted Ruler of the former Galacian Imperiya of the Nehellenium Galaxy years prior. The Real Shulga having been combined with the power of the Monolith Crystal, was able to create an entire Dimension to shape worlds in, but is not able to participate in them directley. He created an avatar in his own image to that he could attempt to shape the civilization of free beings as he saw fit.

(It is an important distinction that the overwhelming majority of the realm's population, do not actually recognize Shulga for who he was. Only those who survived the Monolith Event, and Migrated to the realm after the fact carry this knowledge)

Shulga's avatar fills a role in the Imperiya as their "Seer". The Paranormal and Psionik nature of the realm dictates that an organization as large and important as they are, must have at least some kind of expert in the Field.  Shulga's Avatar often gives the rest of the Imperiya advice and intelligence for them to act on, in reality, this is Shulga's main method of influencing the lives of Minifigs at large, by indirectley controlling the vast Imperiya.

| General

Shulga Loyalist

| First Introduced long before the Monolith Event.  Tachenko is a Character that has been apart of the saga for much longer than many. He was a General within the Galacian Imperiya, formerly a savage primitive warrior kept around as a Lackey by Alex Shulga. He was eventually made a General and was chosen to lead attacks against the Imperial Magikstrate and M-Throne Empire during the Arhus Crisis. Largely blamed for the disaster that destroyed the planet.  Galacian forces defeated the M-Throne and Magikstrate defenders on the planet, but their fleets were destroyed in the following space Battle. it was unknown what became of Tachenko after that.

Unbeknowst to almost everyone, After the Monolith Event which destroyed the old Imperiya, and the entire sector with it. Tachenko was contacted by agents of the reborn Shulga, and he and a small number of Loyalists migrated to the Monolith Realm to serve their old master.

The Imperiya General known as Tachenko in the new realm, is still the same rabid cur that he was in his old life. having developed a reputation for death and destruction not unlike that of a Black Legion warlord. The Stroiteliga Bratva considers Tachenko to be one of their most valuable targets. Drawing their attention after wrecking a lot of plate worlds, and even capturing and imprisoning their original leader, Lenskiy.

| Officer Clique

| The Blues are a "faction" of Officers within the command structure that are generally disloyal to Sergachev's circle, they seek to take over the Imperiya for themselves, and boot out many of their rival officers and Generals.  Their insubordination and scheming is generally kept under the covers. Otherwise they'd have been fired and executed long ago

Military
The Imperiya's military is bar none, the strongest individual power of the realm. This comes from a vast arsenal of specialists, elite troops and a fully equipped motor pool. Their greatest strength is the ability to exploit others weaknesses.. with force.  Deploying forces the enemy has no hard counter for... and in overwhelming numbers. The land forces of the Imperiya are larger than the next 5 competitors combined..

Imperiya's military has two main divisions.

* Armiya - The Ground Forces, the conventional Army using heavy vehicles and massed ground assaults against the enemies of their agenda

* Kosmoflota - The Fleet Forces, Using Medium to large sized vehicles known as fleet ships to bombard ground targets, transport Marines over long distances over the plates, and do battle with other fleets in the void above the plates, The realm's equivalent to space

Armiya
The Imperiya Armiya is experienced,  sophisticated, and uptight.  Deploying large units of Regular, Veteran, Elite and Special Forces soldiers. And lots of heavy Armor and transports.

Refer to the Battleplate Statistics chart for an explanation on the terms that will be referred to in the notes

Reform of R2020
The Imperiya Armiya has always been a force with a convoluted system of bureaucracy and pecking orders. Previously, the army had no fewer than FIVE "tiers" of Infantry unites.  Greatly reducing the effectiveness and ease of deployment of forces.

*Prior to The 2020 reforms, the Armiya had the following service tiers within it's infantry formations.

** Irregulars

** Regulars

** Veteran Shock

** Elite Shock

** Special Forces

Starting in R2020. The System was downgraded to "Three and a half" tiers.  Irregular units were more or less released from official service. This allowed subfactions like the Sindrian Diktat and Kurosai Buntai to come about.  This constituted the "half"

*The remaining tiers were divided into three categories

**Armiya Regulars, Continued to be the rank and file grunts of the  Army with no real changes aside from some minor differences in commissioned officer uniforms. The VDV Dropship troops were demoted from Elite Status all the way down to Regular, filling the role of light infantry scouts.

**Amiya Shock Corps, The Shock Troopers, or "Shturmovik" once had both veteran, and elite troop types. For the most part they have been merged together. New uniforms were issued largely based on the Elite armor, Squad leaders, Shield troops and Heavy weapons squads were given completely new looks,  and for the most part the corps became more diverse, inheriting the specialists of both tiers. As a result though. The experience level of the Corps as a whole degraded, and to pay for the costs of upgrading a quarter of the Army to better equipment, the Corps had to decomission it's advanced service rifle and revert back to the standard issue pulse rifle.  The Advanced weapons were sold to the Syndikat to pay for the costs.

**Armiya Spetsnaz, the Special forces for the most part remained the same albeit with a name change. Some individuals from the Elite Shock forces were promoted into Spetsnaz units, the VDV unit however, was relegated to a Regular unit.  Scouts riding in dropships wasn't deemed special enough to be worthy of the title.

Regular Troops
The Regular troops of the Imperiya Armiya are used to overwhelm their enemies by sheer numbers. Organized into squads of 10 to 14 troops and support units providing medical, communication, logistics and repair support will often follow the troops into battle.

Generally trained to do nothing more than attack and defend objectives with the most minimal of effort. While they serve no statistical difference, Squads often contain at least 1 NCO who is identified by a painted helmet.  Some squads are also led by a squad leader, who is a type of Officer with different stats, allowing the squad to do combined actions.

| Commissioned officers are leaders of formations ranging from squads to entire battle groups. Dependent on their rank and assignment, they are given different levels of responsibility and accountability should they fail. Squad leaders who are either a Lieutenant or Captain are mostly indistinguishable from their enlisted troops, wearing similar armor adorned with orange striping and sometimes a Gold Visor.

All other Officers wear customized armor with fancy caps, fur collars and other accessories. Some wear grey trim and others wear maroon. The maroon being an older version of the Officer's armor that some holdouts still use

Some officers bravely lead troops in the field, willing to take a bullet in the face,  other pussyfoots and nancies sit back behind the safety of defenses and other minifig's bodies,  and bark orders from a Command post. relying on a network of communications

| rowspan="6" | The Bryusa is more of a converted Heavy Tank than it is a carrier. Sporting powerful explosive weapons, a huge troop bay and armor tougher than many tanks. These vehicles are extremely destructive in the operations they are used in due to their weight, tracks, and how they're used.

| rowspan="6" | The Rakushka is the Imperiya's heaviest battle tank. Sporting a nasty main gun, extremely heavy armor and an overall intimidating presence. They are generally only deployed by elite fighting units. Their presence on the field is indicative of a major operation critical to the Imperiya's mission.

| rowspan="6" | The Malka is a "Siege Tank" which is a designation for an artillery vehicle meant for destroying structures. But it is still no less capable as a direct combat unit. The Malka's "Molotok" gun is a force of nature, any minifig caught in it's blast will not escape without grevious wounds at best, and completely vaporized at worst.

Capable of flattening structures and tossing small and medium vehicles like a ragdoll. The Malka is only used when the Imperiya is looking to burn someone hard.  It's rangefinder allows it to fire on an arc at targets not directley in it's line of sight, at a range up to 40" away, a truly long distance.

The Malka cannot engage anything that is less than 10 inches away, meaning it has a minimum range. However it's explosives are so powerful that even a missed shot will likely hit it's target indirectley. Each skill roll below 5 will result in the round being 5" off target in a random direction .
