BFenix's Garage Corner: Last Updated 2-Jan
So, me and bud of mine are having some difficulties forming a band, yet we already have some original work and some covers being developed. Our first original is a song I wrote called "Generation Kill". We are still getting trough riffs and overall musical work, but things are coming together. We will record it once the KORG Mini Pandora is available in music stores.
Here are the lyrics, hope you guys feel something, I was totally focused, it basically wrote itself up...
WIP
Rhythm: about 160 bpms
Generation Kill
By Bernardo "Fenix" Silva (Rhythm guitarist and Vocals) and "Petre" Duarte (Lead guitarist)
WIP introduction
Guitar#1n2
Damnation
At your door, fallout eminent
Salvation
Now long lost, flew with the wind
Predation
Forever more, preys of false gods
Generation
Cursed at birth, all the pain they brought
Riff#1
What happened to this Generation?
Where is the sweat, blood and tears?
Taught by violence shaped by fear
Made to Kill
Riff#2
WIP riff
Generation Kill
Generation Kill
Generation Kill, Kill, Kill, yeah
Guitar#1n2
Body
Fake, unpure. Manufactured
Soul
Insane, not free. Prefabricate
World
Utopia, unreachable desire
Man
All spent shell, cartridge burnt trough fire
Riff#1
Riff#2
Guitar#1n2
God's
Will undone, where is he now?
Seal
Forged by war, the beast of flame
Mind
Playing tricks, your puppet I am not
Memory
Scars so deep, my reality
Riff#1
Riff#2
SOLO
Riff#2
WIP ending
C&C would be much appreciated and taken in mind!

Ya think? Thank you very much! The song is meant to be aggressive, brutal and descriptive about the last, current and possibly coming generation.Olothontor wrote:First off, your English is really good.
Second, the lyrics are very... bloody and newage. Not my style, but I can see the appeal to your average teenager. Good stuff!
I can't wait to hear it.

Knowing BFenix and his proclivities it's probably very heavy metal. Not quite screamo, but very guttural.Magic Soap wrote:Wat is teh vocals style pls
Can't say for sure, though.
I'd love to see more Nickelback-style rock done in this lyrical style, but that requires a really good, probably trained vocalist.

*vomit*Magic Soap wrote:By screamo, I meant these weird bands who have singers who have such wasted bodies, jet black hair and very tight jeans, yet they can shout quite loudly, squeal about how their lives are so bad, how they want to end it all yet they make a fair bit of money being in an emo rock band...
