I'm sorry for not having pictures, but I wasn't really prepared for this battle. There were three missions:
1. Find the silver ore on the battlefield and return it to your base.
2. Find the yellow army man and return him to your base.
3. Find the boxy R-2 unit and return him to your base.
The battle opened with both sides eager for bloodshed and not much else. My hero, the Fantastic Mageman and his staff of doom, climbed atop a flashlight(?) and lined up a spell. needless to say, it missed, and my gunner and two swordsmen moved forward as my pilot boarded his ship. Nick's side, with Senior Ninja, did the same, except that his ninja just sharpened his sword.
Both ships moved forward and fired, missing fantastically, as my hero used his stupendous feat to jump to the remote my gunner was using as cover. my swordsmen moved to the ship and attempted to do nothing in plain view. Nick moved up and sliced my guy's head off, and my other guys (even my hero) missed with their attacks. Nick's swordsmen moved up, but his gunner sat there, apparently becoming peaceful.
About here my hero jumped down and prepared to bash Senior Ninja's head in with a staff. My combined rolls overcame Senior's armor and finished him off. From here on, the ships miss each other until my hero bashes the controls off Nick's. My gunner lines up and fires, separating the swordsman from his legs.Nick's gunner misses my hero, and decides that if he can't fight, he'll get that droid.
I'll skip the less boring and confusing stuff.
My hero dispatches Nick's ship as the pilot bails. My pilot jumps off to get the silver as my hero heads to the barn with the army man. The droid heads to Nick's base, and Nick's gunner moves to blow the head off my gunner.
My pilot carries the silver back to base, and the army man is close behind. Too late to capture the droid, my hero begins to bash it with his staff. Nick's gunner fires at mine for the next two turns, my gunner completely oblivious, until Nick blasts his head off.
I've won, but Nick's remaining gunner challenges me to a duel ( All his other guys dead with staff- related injuries). I use the law of fudge to prevent myself from dying until a well placed swing takes out Nick's gunner, much to the applause of my pilot, the army man, and the silver brick.
Thank you for reading my first quikwars battle!
